Btw the picture is Jeff's human form. Yes Orlando Bloom. Get over it. It's sexy. K bye

Kenzi POV:

I sat in the car with Grant as we drove to the alpha's house. My heart thrummed in my chest as I chewed on my lower lip.

"The babies will be okay with Jeff right?" I whispered in worry. Jeff had unwillingly shifted to his human form to watch over the twins while Grant and I made our way to the alpha's house for a meeting.

"Yes... As much as he may act like a selfish asshole he wouldn't sit by and let something happen to babies. He has a soft spot for kids." Grant spoke firmly as we pulled up in front of the pack house. The whole place seemed to radiate anger, and I furrowed my brows as I stepped out of the car. Grant and I quickly walked in to the pack hall, where the entirety of the pack warriors and adult pack members were gathered.

"My pack, this time we have no choice but to go to war with the witches and rogues." Alpha Luke boomed from the upper floor, looking down at us. "The witches have used the powers of the goblins, and have taken Talzia. They gave us an ultimatum, either give up Mackenzie Jahnson, or let Talzia be killed." I felt tears run down my face as I buried my face into Grant's chest. Some of the pack members began muttering about giving me up. I can't say I blamed them. I had been the cause of all the chaos in the pack since the day I was born. I was an unnatural occurrence in nature, and more than some of the pack elders thought that I should have been disposed with the moment I was born.

"However!" Luke continued. "We are all brothers and sisters. If nothing else, if all other laws are ignored, we will never turn our backs on our siblings, let alone offer them to those who seek to destroy us. The rogues are weak to the north and to the east. If we are to have any chance of getting Talzia back and defeating the rogues and witches once and for all, we will need to take control of their bases to the north and east."

"Alpha, do we know where they took Luna?" Charlotte piped up from beside me. I glanced over at her, and began to cry again as she took my hand, holding it tightly.

"No. Which makes matters all the more urgent." Luke spoke in a gruff voice. "Walker. I'm trusting you to lead one hundred warriors to the north. That is the most vital base that we need to take control of. The rogues aren't as strong to the east as they are to the north, so we can easily seize their east base with a small group of fighters."

"Yes alpha." Walker spoke firmly. "Let's shed some putrid mutt blood!"

"Grant, you and Kenzi will be trusted to come with me as well as Charlotte and Scott. We will try to follow any scents left behind by Talzia." Luke commanded. "And Kenzi, I will need you to do a location spell to try and locate at least a vague location of where Talzia is."

"I don't know how to-" I started.

"You will do this!" Alpha Luke snarled in his dominant Alpha voice. "Do not forget that it is your blood our enemies need. You are the only one with the abilities to try and locate a more precise area of where the Luna is, and as a member of the pack you will do as I, the alpha, say!"

"Yes sir." I squeaked as I curled closer to Grant, my heart hammering in my chest.

That night, as I began to move the guns, silver bullets, and other safety equipment from the cellar to a duffle bag to bring to the alpha, Grant spoke to Jeff.

"Jeff, I know this isn't fair to you, but I need you to watch the twins for a while. And worse case scenario, we need you to raise them." Grant spoke slowly.

"WHAT?!" Jeff exclaimed, anger showing pure on his face.

"I'm sorry, but the pack is in danger. We're going to war with the rogues and witches." Grant explained slowly.

"Oh... So... You may... Be killed?" Jeff spoke slowly. "Is it bad if I use your money to buy a shit ton of catnip?"

"Jeff this is serious!" Grant snapped. "These are my kids we're talking about!"

"I'm sorry, but, I mean... Catnip is a basic need of life." Jeff whined.

"It's just drugs, Jeff," I told him in an impatient voice.

"No they're not! They're a necessity to a cat's life!" Jeff argued.

"You need to be a good parent, Jeff!" Grant snapped. "Please. For me. Just be good to them!"

"Okay... Well... I hope you make it out okay." Jeff whispered. We nodded as we grabbed our gear and left the house.

"I'm still buying a shit ton of catnip with your money, Grant Lewis!" Jeff hollered at us as we left.
