Kenzi POV:

I sat in my dorm room, swallowing nervously as I watched the sun rise slowly from the sky. I felt a tap on my shoulder and whirled around to see an unfamiliar woman standing in front of me.

"Who are you?" I demanded, stepping back in fear.

"My name is Annabel, I'm your Aunt." She whispered quickly. "I don't have much time to explain if you want to save your mate."

"My mate? You mean Dr. Lewis?" I questioned.

"Yes. Everything he said is true. I can bring back your wolf, but you have to trust me. And we need to leave this school now. Return to the place in your pack where your wolf was locked away." Annabel explained. "If you don't come now, Grant will die."

"I'll come with you. Even though I think you're all crazy, I don't want anyone to die because of me." I agreed. I would hate to have a guilty conscience, and to be honest, some part of me knew that I couldn't live without Grant Lewis.

Annabel led me out of the school stealthily, sneaking me back across the woods, into the Bane Moon pack territory. I was welcomed into the pack graciously by two pairs of twin female arms, both of the women sobbing roughly.

"Charlotte, Renee not right now, we need to get the reversal spell implemented soon or else Grant will be killed." Annabel snapped. "Did you get the amulet?" Charlotte held up the amulet, nodding quickly. Annabel continued moving then, setting a fast pace for us to follow behind. When we reached the middle of the pack, Charlotte put the amulet around my neck. I was confused but I didn't want to ask questions- after all, someone's life was in jeopardy, and it was because of me. Annabel had me step into a ring in the middle of the pack, outside of the ring soon up in flames. I was scared but I still didn't want to question anything. Suddenly I felt a roaring pain inside of me and everything seemed to falter off balance as I screamed. As the pain began to die down I looked over at Annabel, who seemed to be testing whether or not I was still me.

As if a bolt of lightning struck me, I remembered everything that had happened. I was overjoyed to reconnect with my lost wolf, but it was not important at the moment. If I have never changed, I began to feel terror take me over. Where was Grant? Annabel step forward and began to speak in a soft, shaking voice.

"We must hurry," Annabel stammered, before turning and leading us through the forest. I was only about two minutes into the forest when I morphed into Tara, moving even faster now, as I watches the sun begin to slowly rise. I was running out of time, and if I want to save Grant I would have to be quick with my plans. As we approached the execution square, My heart seemed to break into a rugged gallop of fear and anger as I jumped from the top wall down to the executioning platform where Grant was tied down. Tara's claws tore through the executioner's throat, killing him instantly. Clouds gathered in the sky, hanging like the arms of death as lighting shot down, powered by my magic and soul, and killed every witch elder, excluding Granna. I glared at her and growled, furious at what she had tried to strip me from.

"You mutt! You should have never been born!" Granna screeched as she tried to throw a death spell at me. I blew flames on it, turning the spell to ash before I shifted to my human form. Electricity jumped off of my hands in great swarms of lightning, before I screamed.

"Burn in hell!" I thundered at her before I stripped her of her power, then allowed the werewolf warriors with us to slowly kill the old witch. I felt tears fall rapidly down my face as I turned to look at Grant, hyperventilating extremely.

"Baby that's not good for you, take deep breaths." Grant murmured as he pulled me into his arms. "It's alright, puppy. I'm here. I'm right here. You're okay." I gripped his shirt as I sobbed into him, shaking violently.

"I love you." I moaned through my tears. "I love you, Grant."

"I know, puppy, I know." Grant mused. "I love you too, my beautiful mate."
