Jace and Rose went to find Clary, after everyone was out to get her.

Walking to Simon's place was quiet at first.

"Izzy knows. " Rose said.

"Knows?"

"She knows about our fight. She's the reason why I said you have to prove yourself. Gain my trust back."

"How? What do I have to do for that to happen?"

"Well, I don't know. Thats up to you to figure it out. Surprise me, I guess. "

The two made it to Simon's walking in.

Simon and Clary were in a canoe, kissing.

Rose shared a look with Jace.

It seemed to be getting a little heated as a shirt was thrown at Jace.

Rose held in a laugh. Smiling as Jace just glared at her.

Jace walked to an air horn that was a bit away.

The two jumped up looking over the edge at Jace and Rose.

"Jace, Rose, uh... hey" Simon chuckled.

"What the hell are you doing? I... You know what? Don't answer that. " Jace said.

After a second, the two jumped down.

"Jace, it's okay. I'm safe here. " Clary said.

Jace picked up the shirt that was previously thrown at him and threw it at Simon.

"Until Valentine stops hunting you, the only place you're safe is the institute. "

"Really? I'm not sure you actually know how hiding works. The whole point is to, um, not be where everyone thinks you are. Trust me, I'm kinda an expert." Simon said.

"For an expert, you were pretty easy to find. Just be thankful I got to you before the Circle did."

"I'm not afraid of them. I've been working on my fighting skills." Simon said.

Jace scoffed.

"Oh, really? You wanna take this outside and give these fight skills a test run?"

"Anytime." Simon said walking towards the door.

Rose grabbed Jaces arm.

"What the hell are you doing? We came here to get Clary not for you two to get into a stupid argument."

"As soon as the sun goes down." Simon said cutting off Jace from replying.

"Guys, I can handle my...." Clary started but then screamed in pain looking at her hand, which was turning black.

"What the hell?" She said.

The three of them went over to her.

"Whats wrong?"

"I dont know. " she said.

Rose watched as the black spread covering at least half her hand.

"We need to go to Magnus. "

Rose, Jace and Clary stepped through the door, interrupting whatever Alec and Magnus were talking about.

"Don't you people have phones?" Magnus asked.

"Didn't know how much time we had." Rose said.

"We need your help." Jace said.
