Jace woke up on the beach, alone. He looked around before looking over and not only seeing one person but two.

Going over to one, he thought it was Clary, but it wasn't. It was Gretel, and she was dead.

He went over to the other person lying on the ground, it was Rosalie.

He tried to wake her up, and when she wouldn't respond he picked her up and left.

After Clary came back to the institute and was questioned, she talked to Izzy.

"I can't believe you lied to Aldertree." Izzy said.

"I couldn't let him go after Jace like he did before." Clary answered her.

"Rosalie was there?"

Clary nodded.

"It looked like they beat her too."

"So Dot took down the wards and the three of you jumped off the ship together?"

"Yeah, but as soon as we hit the water, the tide was so strong. We lost each other... I looked everywhere. I couldn't find them." Clary told her.

"Wait, if he and Alec are going through the same thing, he wouldn't be able to swim. He could be...."

"No. Jace is alive. If he were dead Alec's parabatai rune would have faded."

"So that's good news, right?"

"Yeah. But I dont know how much time Alec has left. Jace might be his only hope, and for all we know Valentine and the Circle have already found him. I didn't know that I could be losing all of my siblings in a week."

"Look, Isabelle.... Jace is the strongest person I know. Rosalie too, maybe even more." Clary laughed slightly.

"We're gonna find them. I promise." Clary finished.

Jace found somewhere safe so that he could try to wake Rosalie up again.

Laying her down on the ground, her head on his lap.

It was a few minutes, but she soon groaned and opened her eyes.

"You okay?" He asked her, as she looked up at him.

"Oh I'm great." She sarcastically said, a small smile on her face.

She went to get up, and to say it sorta hurt, was an understatement.

"Where's Clary?" She asked looking around.

"I dont know. I was going to go find a place that would let me use their phone."

She nodded slightly, letting the silence come as she looked at the floor.

"I'm sorry for what they did to you. I didn't mean..." Jace started.

"Stop. It's not your fault. You didn't know this would happen." She said walking over to him.

"Let's go find a phone so we can call someone." She said.

The two of them went and soon arrived at the hunters moon.

The two avoided the cops, before walking in.

"Well, you two look like you could use a drink. And a towel." The bartender said.

The bartender was a younger girl maybe early 20s or so.

"Just, um... Just your phone?" Jace said.

Rosalie decided to go to the bathroom to try to fix whatever mess she had yet to see.
