15. Explosive Rage

A couple of days had passed and there was no further information about the mole and their plan, Asylum had looked through the network multiple time, seeing if there was some sort of clue to who the identity of the mole was or a clue about their plan but everything was kept hidden with codenames that she couldn't crack. It was very frustrating to her and she needed answers before I was too late. To make sure, her partner was alright. She had Hitoshi and Denki stake out the League of Villains hideout to see if they spot any strange activity. She knew any of them weren't the mole but she had to be certain and rule out any suspects to the best of her ability. She didn't want to lose, she never loses especially to Overhaul. She didn't want to start now.

Hitoshi and Denki were in their car, watching the hideout. It was the night and there was no one around that they could see. They have been out there for three days, watching the League's activity. So far, they know that Dabi heads out around midnight and doesn't go back until dawn. They didn't follow him cause they already knew what he was up to. Nothing. The two thought this night would be different until they spotted a shadowy figure lurking around the hideout. They couldn't see who it was but they were just going around the hideout like they were installing something to the buildings. Hitoshi and Denki got out of the car and headed toward them, The shadowy figure saw them approach him and he began to run. They gave chase and didn't stop until they captured him. They chased him for enough away from the hideout, the man wouldn't let them take him so easily, he didn't want that. Hitoshi took his scarf and wrapped the man in it, coming to a complete stop. Hitoshi pulled the man to them and they recognized him instantly, the man was one of the organization's most trusted members his name was Kenji. He's been with the organization since the very beginning and he was on the bomb squad.

"Kenji? What were you doing near the League's hideout?" Hitoshi asked

Kenji smiled, "To do this," he had a small remote in his hand and pressed a button.

There was a loud explosion behind them, they looked back and saw a dark cloud of smoke cover the crescent moon. Kenji had placed bombs around the hideout and activated the bombs, the league was still inside.

"Oh no," Denki exclaimed horrified

Hitoshi cut his scarf and handed the remaining pieces to Denki, "Restrain him and take him back to base. I'll save the League of Villains."

"But Shinso-"

"There's no time," Hitoshi said as he ran back to the hideout. 

Denki was left with the crazed bomb expert, he had to knock him out to carry him back to the car. Hitoshi ran as fast as he could to the hideout, as he ran he pulled out his phone and called Asylum. She picked up immediately,

"Shinso?" She asked

"Koneko, we have a huge situation."

"What is it?"

"The hideout, it's been blown up."

Asylum gasped, "Are the league ok?"

"I'm gonna find out, send back up my way."

"On it, be careful."

"I will," he said before hanging up an getting to the hideout

When he got there, the door was open. Magne, Toga, Slice, and Twice was outside, dark soot covered their bodies. They looked fine but they were weak at the point, Dabi walked out of the hideout with Mr. Compress in his arms.

"Where's Kurogiri and Shigaraki?" Hitoshi asked

"They're trapped in there," Dabi told him, "I couldn't get them out, the flames are too big."
