11. Touya

The night was still young as dark smoke rose from the forest at the edge of town. Blue flames were surrounding Dabi, creating anything in its path. Dabi was just standing in the center, watching the flames.  He heard a snap of a stick from behind and he turned around to see who or what was there. It was Asylum, she was on the other side of the ring of flames, She wasn't wearing her mask, it just hung around her neck.

"Hiya~" she greeted him

"What are you doing here?" Dabi asked

"Dude, your setting flames in the forest, near my base. It's pretty hard not to see what you were doing." Asylum looked around the blue flames, "Not bad for a Todoroki."

Dabi looked at her with wide eyes, he hasn't forgotten about saying his real name when they first met. He walked past the flames and up to her, he grabbed by the throat and pushed her up against a nearby tree.

"How the hell do you know about that name?" he asked

"Ooh~ Getting a bit kinky, aren't we?" Asylum said with a smile

"Answer me!" He demanded

"If you let me go, I'll tell you." Asylum calmly told him, Dabi let her go and put his hands in his pocket, "I know who you really are from the commission, they tried to get rid of your files but they didn't do a good job cause I hacked into their system and got all the files that they were trying to hide. I have every file of every hero, villain, and citizen in the whole country so finding you wasn't like a needle in a haystack."

 "But why do you have it?"

"Because I wanted it. I want to know everything about the people that will help me take over the hero society."

Dabi stared down at her, "That doesn't give you the right to look into people's personal files."

"I know you don't want anyone to find about your past, you being a Todoroki and Endeavor being your father, the number one hero right now. I could get rid of the file permanently if you want me to?" Asylum suggested

"I thought things on the internet can't be erased permanently?"

"On the internet no, it's practically impossible but from a database that belongs to a company, you can. A database stores the files that the public doesn't see and it can be deleted as long as the file is never leaked online. I can delete your file and no one will ever know who Dabi really is."

"What's the catch?"

"There is no catch, I'm just doing a friend a favor and erasing Touya Todoroki out of existence just like your family did." Asylum's eyes were practically glowing at that point, "Do you want me to delete the file Dabi?"

Dabi continued to stare down at her, the flames surrounded them. Ash was blown alongside the wind, he knew she was being serious but was it something he actually wanted?

"No, you keep it safe for me."

"What an interesting answer from someone so cold." Asylum said with a smile, "Does this mean you trust me?"

"Not entirely," Dabi told her, "I just think you wouldn't release things without a purpose."

"What would be my purpose in spilling the beans about you being alive and a villain? Your father told everyone you were dead, hiding your existence for what? Because you failed to be the number one hero and surpass All Might?" Asylum got closer to Dabi, "I've read Endeavor's file, well the one that he didn't want anyone else to read. The truth about him was there and I understand why you hate him and became this way. Fathers are hard to please these days, we're just a big disappointment to them."
