17. Birdbrain

The next day was a busy one, Asylum had to meet up with another partner, take care of some shipments, and send Hitoshi and Denki out to get something for her while she checked the base's security system, she even had to cancel the study with Tomura cause she was busy. Everyone else was just hanging around somewhere inside or outside the base. 

Around the afternoon, Asylum was able to take a break and hang out in the living area where Twice, Toga, Dabi, and Tomura were. When she sat down she groaned very loudly,

"Jesus, who knew being a Yakuza boss would be this exhausting." Asylum said, "If I had known any better I would just be a serial killer instead." 

"You were a serial killer before you became a Yakuza boss?" Twice asked her

"Yeah, I mean I'm still a serial killer now but back then I was less known." Asylum smiled, "Now that shit was easy now things are getting busy, complicated, or annoying."

"I get the busy and complicated stuff but what's annoying about your job?" Toga asked her

"There are always some guys who just come by and annoy the hell out of me," Asylum told them

Right as she said that, the elevator began to go down, it stopped at the living area floor and opened. A guy with big red wings and blonde hair stepped out of the elevator.

"Guess who just flew in?" he said with a cocky smile

"And here's one of them," Asylum told them before getting up and going over to the birdman, "Hawks, what a surprise for you to come back here especially after I kicked your ass out last time."

"Even though you clipped my wings a few times doesn't mean I would leave you alone. I mean why would I stop seeing the cutest girl in the world?" he snickered

Asylum rolled her eyes, "Please don't pull that fuck boy stuff on me."

"I see you still have that fire burning inside you, I like women with fire."

"And I hate chicken."

"Don't hate me cause I like you baby bird."

"Bold of you to assume that I actually like your entire existence. I would say you were cocky but I expect that from a dick like you." Asylum said harshly with a smile

Hawks chuckled, "Now, that's a burn!"

"What do you want Hawks?" Asylum went over to the bar and got herself a soda

Hawks followed her, not noticing the League of Villains were there watching them. Hawks eyes were all on Asylum, "Can't I hang out with you? I've been busy with so much with stupid hero work that I haven't had any time to spend with the number one villain."

"I'm not the number one villain but flattered," She said sarcastically

"So whatcha been up to?"

"Been busy with my friends."

"What friends?"

"The League of Villains?"

"Really? Your friends with those losers?"

Asylum pointed at the league, Hawks saw them and his face turned white, "H-Hey, how long have you been there."

"The whole time, you ass," Tomura growled

Hawks turned to Asylum, "Why are they here?"

"They are working with me to take down the hero society," Asylum told him

"Didn't expect you to be partners with the crusty man and his goons but why are they here, at the base?"

Asylum told him what had happened a few days ago and what the mole had told her, "They are living with me until further noticed."
