19. Brutality

The next couple of days were very weird between Asylum and Tomura, he has tried very hard to avoid her. Whenever she entered a room where he was alone, he would immediately leave. Whenever she tried to talk to him, he would run away and he was only around her when there were people around. Asylum was annoyed by this but she waited for the right moment to confront him without anyone knowing.

However, this day was important. It was the day that Asylum would have a meeting with the league and discuss a plan for the banquet, it was in two days and they needed to retrieve the drug before Overhauled revealed it to the villain society. Asylum called everyone into a meeting and met in the meeting room, there were snacks and drinks for everyone. Hawks attended the meeting as well, even though Tomura didn't like him around. Once everyone was settled down, Asylum got up from her chair and spoke,

"Now that everyone is here, we shall begin." Asylum said happily, her eyes were glowing with anticipation. "As many of you are aware, Overhaul will be presenting a very dangerous drug at the villain banquet in two days. We all will be going to the banquet, dressed nicely, and being professional. Thanks to Hawks he got us invitations," She turned to Hawks, "I wonder how you got them, did you sleep with the person who was giving them out?"

Hawks gasped dramatically, "What are you assuming?"

"That you're a whore."

"I am not a whore!"

"Look, I'm not the type to slut-shame, it's just that you do fuck anything that has a pulse."

Hawks pouted, "I do not, name one person that I have slept with."

Asylum's smile widened, "You really want me to say it?" Hawks nodded at her, "Gladly. Half of my members from my organization."

Some of the league giggled, Hawks blushed. "You can't prove it was me."

"You want me to bring the security footage into this?" Asylum threatened

Hawks was quiet for a full minute until he spoke again, "So, your plan with the banquet?"

Asylum chuckled and continued, "Anyway, we will spread out the area in search of the Overhaul's drug. Once we know it's whereabouts, we will retrieve it and stop anyone who gets in our way. Killing is an option but do not get yourself caught. Hawks and Dabi, you two will be our eyes during the whole operation. You'll be able to communicate with us their earpieces as the rest of us will be attending the banquet. Everyone but Tomura will have to get into disguises, if Overhaul or any other villains saw the League of Villains at the banquet together they will be suspicious."

"Understood." Toga said happily

"Wait, why don't I have to dress up?" Tomura asked

"Because you are the leader of the League of Villains, everyone will be expecting you to be there," Asylum told him

"What about you?"

"I'm going as well, without a disguise."

"Why? Don't you hide your face from the public?"

"Not anymore, since that operation with the stolen shipment tank, my face has been on the news. The helicopter that was following us was a news helicopter and captured everything that night. My image has been plastered on the news so everyone knows who I am. The villains at the banquet will want to meet me there so I'm going to attend without a disguise."

"Are you sure that is wise?" Hitoshi asked

"I'm sure, there's no need to worry." 

"What if this whole banquet is a setup, what is Hawks is apart of it."
