The party

[Suzue's Pov]

The usual classes have been going on for the last few months since I came to Tokyo and honestly I've been hoping for some thrilling events.

The freshman party that was to be held last month somehow got canceled for uncertain reasons and now the freshmen are drowning in an ocean of boredom since no one's holding a party.

Usually when you imagine university life, it seems like something straight out of a movie. Friends and hang outs, party and getting drunk so bad you don't even remember what happened the night before, getting guys, going on trips and what not.

But let me tell you something, that's not exactly how uni life is. I don't know if it's just for any specific depeartment, like law, a really tough one, or not, but I haven't even had time to hang out with Kiyoko properly for all the pressure we're both in. We only meet at uni and the cafe.

My usual life routine includes classes, going to the cafe, coming home and repeat. And on the weekdays, I'm usually studying since my tables piled with the number of assignments I've got.

Yes you're read it right. The cafe.

The cafe has become my regular place. Ever since I had dinner with Matsukawa, I can't help but want more of it. And so I just visit the cafe everyday and just watch him from afar.

Matsukawa and I are getting along pretty well. My shyness to talk to him is also fading little by little.

I don't know if I'm developing some sorta feeling for him or not but every time I see him, my heart leaves my chest and flies away somewhere.

And the more I get to know him, the more I want to know about him. The more I see him, the more I want to see him everyday. These desires just never seem to calm down.

On weekends as well, I make my way to the cafe if I'm too exhausted and likewise I head to the cafe today as well. Today's a weekend.

Both Matsukawa and Shimizu works at the cafe from morning till afternoon on the weekends. And we sometimes hang out at the cafe by ourselves despite of them being the cashier and a waitress.

I've still got assignments to complete and so I went to the cafe with my study equipments. Plopping down on my seat, I continue with my studies.

After studying for a while, I head to place my order.

"Taking the regular!?" He asks.

"Mhmm. Wait there's chocolate pudding here today. I haven't seen a chocolate pudding here before."

"Yeah just came in today. Want me to add to your order?!"

"Yes please."

"You don't have to come to get it. I'll bring it to you."

"Um sure!"

Replying, I head back. My heart had yet again left my chest. Blushing to the fullest, I head back to my seat trying to bring back both my heart and my focus from wherever they've run off too.

In a while, Matsukawa walks up to my table and places my order on the table quietly trying not to disturb me. But of course I notice him and thank him for bringing my stuff.

He leaves and comes back again and putting sugar packs and stirrer on the table, he goes,

"Here's your two sugar packs and the stirrer."

"What if I need more sugar?!"

"You only have two sugars."

"How'd you know!?"
