The following day the battery partners seemed to have gone back to normal, there are a few awkward moments and even some tension but it's better than before at least.
"Kuramochi-san, you're pretty good at handling those two" Raichi said
The two batters were on break and is currently watching the team continue practice.
"It was worse when we were in Seido" Kuramochi grimaced at the thought at how many times he kept getting stuck between those two's sexual tensions.
"That reminds me, do you have a lover yourself?" Raichi asked which made kuramochi choke on the water he was drinking, raichi quickly got him a towel from beside him.
Kuramochi was now bright red which was a pretty clear indication that he clearly does have someone he likes, but it's probably best for raichi to play it safe.
"Why do you ask? Do you?" Kuramochi smirked back after he composed himself, raichi turned bright red at the question
"W-what? No!" Raichi splurted out in a panic
"Ah shadup we all know it's Sanada" Kuramochi had an evil aura surrounding him, raichi realized he just might have stepped on a landmine.
"What are those two doing?" Miyuki asked
Sawamura looked at the direction of where miyuki was looking and found kuramochi and raichi both bright red and is pointing and yelling at each other"Should we stop them?" He asked
"Nah let me take a video first" Miyuki was giggling to himself at this point, he had his phone out and is currently recording them
"You're such a sadist"
"Thank you"
"Wasn't a compliment damned four eyes"
"You're hanging out with kuramochi too much"
"Thank you"
"Damn brat"
"Tanuki!"
"Why you-"
Later on the four of them got scolded and had double the evening training, they were passed out on the fields after that.
"I swear we have too many sadists on this team, and that includes the coach himself" Sawamura grimaced
"For once I agree with you" Kuramochi said
"Hey at least we get an off day tomorrow!" Sawamura exclaimed
"Always the optimist arent ya?" Miyuki glared at him
"Well someone has to be" Sawamura argued
"Oh hell no we are having this argument again" Miyuki said slapping his hand over sawamura's mouth, that went on for about 6 solid seconds until miyuki felt something slimy on his palm and he shuddered at the realization "idiot! Did you just lick me??" Miyuki exclaimed
"Shut up! My jaw hurts because of you now" Sawamura said rubbing his jaw
"Wait where did todoroki go? And even kuramochi??" Miyuki realized that the two were gone
"Ack! They ditched us!"
The following day the four decided to go to a nearby cafe that recently opened, of course for avoid any unwanted attention they had to go out with masks.
"Why am I also wearing a mask? I doubt anybody would actually know me" Sawamura complained
"Dude did you forget narumiya's post? Also the recent announcement of you joining the team? stop complaining you idiot" Kuramochi said
Once the cafe was just around the corner sawamura sighed in relief but of course that was short lived because once they did they saw the front of the cafe they grimaced
There were fans flocking in front of the cafe screaming out indistinguishable names, but they could clearly see the Eagles logo on their shirts and hats.
"Please don't tell me..." Miyuki muttered to himself
The four decided to sneak in front of the crowd and they found none other than Amahisa and Mima inside.
They pushed themselves in front of the crowd and showed their reservation number before stumbling in the cafe making the guests look at them weirdly
Miyuki quickly walked over to Mima and Amahisa's table, at first the two were glaring at him but after he took off his mask they realized it
"Ah! It's you guys! Sawamura!!" Amahisa yelled tackling sawamura back to the ground where he just got up from
Mima and Miyuki had a staring contest for a while but then miyuki sighed "okay what are you guys even doing here?" Miyuki asked
"That guy dragged me all the way out here because mini kominato couldn't go" Mima said pointing at amahisa
Kuramochi and Todoroki are trying to weasel their way out of Amahisa's conversation but it was in vain as they got dragged into it even more.
Sawamura was trying desperately to keep his mouth shut to avoid spilling anything to that guy while also glaring at him with cat eyes.
"And why here of all places?" Miyuki asked this time taking a seat
"He wanted to try their specialty here" Mima sighed taking a sip of his coffee "but I will be honest, the coffee here is not bad"
The two talked like normal people while the other four plunged into chaos almost getting then kicked out of the cafe, and did the number of people outside multiply?
Todoroki is enjoying his banana cream pie and he almost ended up getting a dozen if it weren't for kuramochi, sawamura just ate his cake while failing miserably at ignoring amahisa, kuramochi joined mima's table later on.
Though it might have taken them hours just to get out of the cafe after signing autographs and taking pictures, they definitely won't hear the end of it from their managers and coaches when they get back.

Mima: besides I don't think we would still invite you either way

Kazuya: he's not wrong
Mei: Masa-san! Kazuya and Mima are being mean!
Masa: you're an adult mei
Masa: and I'm not your mom
Carlos: I'll do you guys a favor and get narumiya away from his phone
Kazuya: very much appreciated

Sanada: miyuki please don't tell me you let raichi buy as much banana flavored stuff as he could
Kazuya: don't worry kuramochi got him under control
Sanada: thank god
Kazuya: he still ended up taking three boxes home though
Mei: hah! If only he could bring a run home against me too!
Kazuya: be careful on what you say mei
Carlos: prayers offered
Carlos: anyways narumiya where the he did you run off to?
Mei: what's the point in running if I told you where I am?
Carlos: look up
