"I'll see you later Luna, bye Annie," y/n called out to her friends once they had finished their end of the year exams. Y/n ran to catch up with her Gryffindor friends who were walking ahead of her.

"Speak for yourself," she heard Ron say. Ron looked like an utter mess. His tie was completely untied and his shirt wasn't tucked in like it was supposed to be. "You alright there Harry?" he asked.

"My scar," replied Harry, who was wincing in pain and clutching his forehead. "It keeps burning," he explained.

"It's happened before though, right?" y/n tried to reason.

"Not like this."

"Perhaps you should see the nurse," Hermione suggested.

"I think it's a warning. It means danger's coming," Harry paused while looking at Hagrid's hut. Y/n looked behind her curiously when a flash of long, bright blonde hair caught her eye. Her suspicion was confirmed when she saw a head of pin-straight dirty blonde hair next to it. There was a group of people gathered around her Ravenclaw friends, which she knew couldn't have been a good thing.

"Oh!" y/n gasped at the same time as Harry. "I have to go, catch you guys later," she rushed to get out of her mouth. Her friends all gave her confusing looks but she ran away without explaining. She shoved past the group of people between her and Luna and Annie. Luna was hiding behind Annie and there was a Slytherin girl with jet black hair facing the two of them.

"What should we do now?" she taunted, looking around at the other people gathered in the group. She peered past Annie to Luna and her eyes landed on Luna's baby blue headband. Before anyone knew what was happening, the black haired girl reached over and took the headband right from Luna's head, causing fits of laughter from the surrounding people.

"Leave her alone," y/n growled. She looked over to Luna, who was quietly crying, and Annie, who was holding her in a side hug. "And give it back," she demanded.

"Oh?" was all the girl said as she strutted her way over to y/n, smirking as she did so. Her dark brown eyes stared menacingly into y/n's. Y/n shied away a bit, but not enough to back down. "And who are you?"

"Y/n," she gulped. "Y/n Roway."

"Oh... Roway, I was wondering when I'd meet you. You're the talk of every hour where I hang out," the words slithered off her tongue. This statement left y/n confused, which she tried, but failed, to not show on her face. She followed the girls eyes to see she was side eyeing Malfoy, much to y/n's dismay.

"I don't even know your name."

"Pansy Parkinson," she snapped.

"Well Pansy. Give me back that headband," y/n demanded. The words thankfully came out a lot bolder than she was feeling.

"With. Pleasure," Pansy hissed as she dropped Luna's headband into y/n's hand. Pansy gave y/n a hard shove with her shoulder as she went to join Malfoy, who turned to walk back to the realms of which he came from.

"Piss off!" y/n yelled to the people who were still gathered around her two friends. "Oh Luna!" she cried as she wrapped Luna in a hug. Luna pulled away, wiping the tears from her eyes. As she did so, y/n put her headband on for her, smiling at her when she was done. "That's better," she said, patting Luna's head.

"Thank you. For um that," Annie shyly chimed in. "I tried to stop them, but they all kept laughing at me. You have a special power over people, I don't know how you do it," she whispered to y/n.

"Don't worry about it, as long as you're alright Annie, Luna." Luna nodded and so did Annie. They all silently agreed to walk back towards the tower, where they hopefully wouldn't have any more problems.
