Chapter 21 Havannah
I was in a black room. I turned around to find that I wasn’t alone. Thankfully Harry was with me. “Hey Harry.” I said walking up to him. His face hardened and he rolled his eyes. Confused I took another step towards him. The walls seemed to be filled with shadows that were laughing at me and mocking me. “Are you okay?” he shook his head in disgust and his green eyes flashed with anger. Shocked I took a few steps back almost tripping over my own feet.
“What do you want? I told you to leave me alone!” I was out of words.
“What are you talking about?” he ran a hand angrily through his curls.
“I don’t want to see you anymore! You’re just like your mom! I can’t believe I trusted you. I hate you.” He turned and walked into the blackness. I tried to follow him but it was no use. I tried turning around, but I could only go in one direction, which didn’t help at all. I was left all alone in the darkness. The seemingly harmless shadows before were reaching out trying to grab me. How could he be so cruel? I stood up and the blackness started closing in. I ran in the direction Harry went, but just like the first time it went on forever.
“Harry! Harry please help me!” with the darkness closing in his words filled the silence.
“You’re just like your mom.” Over and over again. Defeated, I curled up into a ball and let the shadows drag me into darkness’ mouth.

I woke up. I had the worst headache in the world and I felt feverish. I picked my phone up off the floor to check the time. Two fifteen in the morning. Nice. I was drenched with sweat and tears soaked my face. I thought about the dream and what it could mean. Coming up with only bad thoughts, I attempted to get up which made my head spin. I leaned against the wall and managed to walk to the kitchen before collapsing. “Kat!” I yelled surprised that my voice worked because I couldn’t move. I was suddenly thankful that she was a light sleeper. She shuffled into the kitchen and turned the light on. Her eyes widened. “No time.” I croaked out. I was loosing feeling in my torso. “Help.” Was the last thing I remembered saying before my world turned black once again.

Muffled sounds woke me up. My vision was blurred, but my hearing was improving. I heard a constant, annoying beeping. I also deciphered Kat, Sky, and a few other voices. I must’ve moved because I was suddenly seeing nine tan blobs. One of them, I guess was the nurse, was asking me all kinds of questions. “Slow down.” I said. My speech was slurred, but at least I could speak. The nurse blob moved and started repeating the questions.
“Can you speak?”
“Well yeah. I just said ‘slow down’.” I heard someone try to contain a laugh.
“Can you see?”
“It’s really blurry.” I explained to her how everyone looked like fuzzy blobs and she gave me some medicine.
“That takes a half an hour before it kicks in.” Great. I felt sorry for all the people who weren’t born blind, but somehow turned blind. It sucked. “How do you feel?”
“Annoyed.” She sighed.
“I’ll have the doctor come in once you can see again.” She said before her blob left. The remaining eight scooted closer.
