Later that night, Mikoto, with the help of Lucy, pulled herself off her wheelchair and got into bed. It had become a regular habit, so it wasn't that tiresome anymore... All Mikoto needed to do was lean on Lucy's shoulder with her arms while Lucy helped carry her into the bed.  Mikoto was quite athletic even with her crippled legs, and she was also quite light, so it was kind of easy.. kind of... except it made Mikoto feel like she was a deadweight burden on Lucy.

However.. Mikoto did feel a little better considering she had actually driven back in her brand new car. Just a month ago..The Magic Counsel and the United Nations had commisioned a road for vehicles in on both sides of the Rainbow Gateway, that way Magic Mobiles from Earthland and regular gasoline cars from Earth could traverse between the worlds.. making the two dimensions more accessable to each other.

The steering wheel had the gas and brakes as hold buttons, allowing a paraplegic like Mikoto to drive safely. However, what made Mikoto really love the car.. was that it actually made her feel like she still had a bit of independence.

However.. her joy was short lived.. as the moment she got into bed and Little L and Elli snuggled up together under her arm, she remembered the sniper from back at the Underground Mall, and her heart pumped a little faster as she thought about what might of happened... she had been powerless.. useless.. she had known what was going to happen and she couldn't do a thing about it..

"Mikoto?" Lucy sat up from her bed, her face was visible from the street lamposts that shone through the windown in Magnolia town. "Are you alright? You seem tense.."

Mikoto nodded slowly.  She turned her head to look at the satchel that hung from her wheel chair that sat in the corner of the bedroom, where the card she had recieved from the strange man still lay within..

Lucy looked at where Mikoto was looking then looked back at her. "Mikoto? You know you can tell me anything right?"

Mikoto nodded.

"Well.." said Lucy. "Let's.. wait a minute.. er.. is it just me..? Or are your blankets lumpier then usual?"

Mikoto looked down and used one arm to turn over a blanket, revealing Natsu Dragneel and Happy who were both snoozing on Mikoto's bed, hugging her large patched up and bandaged teddy bear which she had ever since she was little.

Mikoto took on an irritated frown as she suddenly knocked Natsu and Happy off the bed.

"EHHH!!? WHERE'S BIGFOOT!? Natsu yelled, getting up from the floor with a start.

Happy just kept right on sleeping. "Aye... so... much... fish...zzzzz"

'NATSU!!" Lucy yelled. "AGAIN!!!? If you wanted to sleep over, why don't you just ask instead of breaking in like that!?"

"So.. I shouldn't have invited them?" Natsu said jabbing his thumb behind him.

Lucy just stammered unintelligible words as Erza walked out of the bathroom in her pajamas, stretching and Gray was seen  lying on a pile of blankets in nothing but boxer underpants.

"Oh! hello Lucy, Mikoto, I hope I'm not intruding." said Erza.

"They never knock.." Lucy muttered. "Oh well... it's not like we haven't been through this before."

Suddenly the door opened, and Aikot Tokwadai walked in, her silver hair looked a bit disheveled, she had a tooth brush sticking out of her mouth.. and she was wearing nothing but a bra and shorts under her open bathrobe.

"Hey." said Aiko. "You're out of milk you know?"

"Y-you too!?" said Lucy. "Who else is in here!?"
