We live to die

I know i already brought up this subject once, but its like it has so many aspects that i have not yet covered. We read a book in school a couple days ago called "nothing" Im not sure it cant be translated directly like that, but you know where im headed. The entire book was about finding the meaning of life, and proving exactly that to others. We talked about this book in school, the kids in the book made of pile of all the stuff that had meaning to them. It went all the way from shoes, to Adoptionslicens, digging up littlebrothers graves and losing viginities. Then you can debate, if the pile they made, really was a pile over the things that has meaning of life, or that exact meaning disapeared the second they decided to put the thing in the pile. Can it really be that important if its possible to give it up like that?

After we read the book, the teacher said. "Whats your opinions? Is there a meaning of life?" The answers that came in weirdly enough suprised me. People were certain, that there was a meanig with life. And i was sitting there like, no theres no meaning in life, the guy in the book is right when he said "We get born to die" But i think the meaning of life comes in, what you let have meaning to you. Its something you choose, and its a decision, if you just wanna get the best out of the life you have? Or whine about that itll be the only one. I personally mix those too. But common, im not stupid, its not like i wanna live forever or anything, i just dont like the idea, of the time flying so fast, and that the time is simply not there to do it over.

I shut my mouth tho, for that entire class, cause the teacher said "I certainly dont think any og you are sitting with the thought of life being meaningfullless" I was just sitting there looking down, cause apparently thats a wrong way of thinking, but be honest. We all know its true anyways.
