Do you ever wonder, if there's an afterlife? You'll die, and go to heaven and sit somewhere up there fishing with god by your side? I find it hard to believe. And why so? Well cause it's a crazy thought! I mean we can't believe in Santa, the Easter bunny and aliens, but the thought of a guy watching us from the heaven seems logical? How does it makes sense?
I claim I'm religious and In a way I am, depends on what you define as religious. I believe in the Ten Commandments. Not the myth behind how god gave them to us, but the message and the laws that's based on them. i believe in humane behaviour, such as no killing, and not stealing, and worshipping your loved ones, or anyone in that case. It's all what makes our world/community work as it does.
But seriously how can anyone believe in the myths? Yea some guy Noah build an Ark by himself. No freaking way. Seriously. And god created the world in seven days? No there's no scientifically proof of that, and I admit I believe in science. And the Big Bang.
But I get why people wanna believe. They want hope. They need hope. It can be hard to accept that if your loves ones dies, they just disappear and rotten up under the ground. They wanna believe they go to a better place, that they're watching over the surviving relatives. If someone I knew died, I would probably have the same believes. Who knows.
I'm not gonna say religion is a bless or a crime, just that it's a matter of science and believes. A personal choice.
And I made my choice. I'm a human I do what I can. I Wish I was a believer, but I'm simply not.
