Everyone drops their chopsticks and stare at each other and dumbfounded and actually their bodies are all numb with fear. Ah Xian hides his face on Yibo's chest because he knew that he has been caught.

Slowly and surely, the tall and lengthy figure comes into light and of course, no one needs to guess who it is, no one has this kind of aura that would kill anyone on the spot with the stare of the dark and deep orbs. Zhan walks slowly towards them but with his arms folded across his chest. There is no smile or any angry face rested on his shoulder which makes everyone hard to predict what is coming on for them.

Ah Xian is of course more nervous because he knows what he had done to his papa who loves and dots on him. He is expecting all kinds of punishment that would befall upon him and these thoughts brought a slight trembling onto his little body who is now held by Yibo. Yibo felt the little trembling body and he felt so sorry for the boy. He felt like he is in the world of Ah Xian where Yibo would expect his father to punish him, the kind of fears and trembles that usually comes with harsh physical pain and then words that would cut into his heart would followed on. Although Yibo knows that Zhan would not be like his father that would punish unreasonably but the thought of this little fellow trembling brought him to his own self where he was helpless. Now, Yibo feels like he actually has someone to protect although he might get into trouble, he doesn't even mind it because he wants to "save" Ah Xian.

So. Yibo stands up although his arm still wrap around Ah Xian and he did another usual 90 degree bow and he stands to bravely speaks his words but because he is not experience in talking too much, his eyes is on the table rather than the person that he is speaking to

"Emmmm, I think...ya...my ...fault....I told...Ah ...Xian...the spoon ..game....,so...Ah Xian....came....MY FAULT and....." Yibo stutter so much with fear that Xu Ma and Lam feels the heartaches and they wanted to stand up and defend that poor boy but Zhan puts his palm up to stop that two and he puts his finger on his mouth gesturing them to keep quiet as Yibo is looking on the table, he doesn't know that Zhan is making signal to the two, Xu Ma and Lam.

Yibo is finding it hard to talk because, he is not used to lying, even when his father beat the hell out of him, he cannot lie, he is straight forward to the point that he rather suffers and not lie and so he is trying to defend the boy and he needs to choose his words carefully. This is because Yibo wanted to protect the boy from being punished by his father but he is grateful to Zhan for all the providence. Zhan is scary but he took care of him and gave him a job and a place to live and also brought clothes for him. Yibo is a grateful boy, so now he is in dilemma, he wanted to stand for the boy in a righteous way and the eighteen years old is finding it hard with not much experiences in human relationship. So, now he is trying his best for Ah Xian.

SO, with no words coming from Zhan's mouth, Yibo tremble a little and with a red eyes he brave and lifted his face and ask Zhan for leniency by saying this

"C-Can I-I ta-take his punishment pleaseee" Yibo asks what his heart desires.

Straight away the two couldn't hold anymore and they shouted in unison

"NOOOOO!!!!!!" Lam and Xu Ma is now standing up in a very subtle protest for Yibo to takes punishment for Ah Xian.

Ah Xian also stands up with his arm widespread across his ge ge and he mouth softly "NO, papa" as he is still too frighten to voice it out too loud.
