Zhan looks at Yibo with his adorable eyes and he laughs out and pat the boy's head

"When is the kitten going to become a lion?"

The laughter of Zhan is like an antidote to everyone's fear, and so everyone joins in the laughter.

Yibo didn't joins in the laughter but he continue to stand and wait for instructions. This is his usual practice as a young boy. However, his eyes darted onto the broken mobile phone that are scattered on the partly concrete and grass area. This is a sad scene for Yibo. It is more than a mobile phone. This is the first time he was given such a useful and expensive gift. Anyone can buy a new mobile phone but the phone was given to him by his employer, his boss and most important it has Ah Xian photo inside as well. So, he walks slowly to the shattered pieces of the mobile phone, he wanted to pick the pieces of the shattered phone. The bodyguards were all too busy feeling relieve that Zhan is not angry. The distant cousins are taking this opportunity to catch up with their big brother cousin. Everyone seems busily engaged in their own conversation and the only one that is slowly disappears is Yibo. He quietly walks to the grass area and he looks down on the shattered pieces of mobile phone. His eyes is again fills with glassy liquid. It is not about the mobile phone now. He feels like the shattered mobile phone seems to represent the life that he has been having since. His father is in a mess, the mess of a father that sold his son away, he doesn't know how to contact his only brother. The happy moments that he felt when he was enrolled in the University by his boss and enjoying the great friendship with Peixin and Fanxing seems to look like a dream to him. A dream that has been shattered like the mobile phone. The pain in his heart is quite unbearable. Does that mean that what he is enjoying is only a dream to him, one day he will be like the shattered phone, throw away again and laid on the grass and concrete and being discarded as useless as Yibo has seen how his father sold him.

Unconsciously, Yibo kneel down and pick up the pieces of mobile phone, he doesn't know what he is doing, but in his mind, maybe, just maybe if he pick all the pieces up and put them back together. His shattered life will not appears again. His mind is in a mess, the shattered pieces of mobile phone on the floor reminded him and triggers his trauma of being throw away and abandoned by his father. Every pieces that he picks Yibo puts them carefully onto his palm as he tears softly, doing everything that his lost mind is focusing now.

Zhan has been occupied by his two distant cousins who seems to want to catch up with him, however, as he chat with them, he feels a sense of lost, like someone is missing here. So, he turns his head around and he saw Yibo picking up the broken pieces of mobile phone and he is now kneeling on the floor. Those tiny pieces of mobile phone are sharp and Yibo just let them on his palm. Zhan darted eyes found Yibo and he wonder why the boy is picking up the pieces of broken mobile phone. He stops talking to the cousin and he walks with his long strike towards Yibo and he notices that the palms of Yibo has many pieces of broken mobile phone and that boy doesn't even notice that his palm actually has some light cutting and some blood is oozing out from the palm. Zhan was too shock but he doesn't know what is in Yibo mind and so he quickly kneel down beside the boy and looks onto his face and notices that the boy is teary and he has a pale face and he is motionlessly picking the broken pieces of phone. Zhan heart felt a pang, he could have just screams or yells at Yibo but he knew that Yibo seems to be in a distorted state of mind and he knew that he needs to deal with it gently. He had dealt with his dead sister before she die with childbirth so Zhan did have some knowledge of trauma.
