Chapter 26 (Zhan's offer)
Validation from his father is the most wonderful feeling for Ah Xian and Yibo looking at the happy family, feels a little sad in his heart and he walks quietly out of the kitchen and then he looks at one of the window that is at the hallway towards the car and his mind wonders about of the only person that he felt that loves him the most and he mumbles to himself, with his eyes setting at the far away horizon
"Ge ge, where are you, Yibo misses you" Yibo holds all his emotions and without realising that someone had followed him and heard every words spoken by him.
Zhan stands behind Yibo quietly as he doesn't want to further any more pain for Yibo, although he himself feeling the pain in his own heart. Somehow, nowadays, Zhan moods swings seems to coherent with Yibo, he feels like when he saw that shy curve lips on Yibo, his heart will just automatically feels happy and joyful, now looking at that sad face of Yibo, tilting his head facing the empty sky which today doesn't even have clouds at all, nothing to decorate that blue sky but just light blue sunshine. Zhan could feels the emptiness in Yibo's heart for family's love. Of course. Zhan would love to immediately fills Yibo's heart but after Yibo here for a week and his deep observation tells him that this boy is shy and he succumbs to authority above him but you can never wins him over with authority. Yibo is brought up with too much authority and submission and he is looking for the capacity to understand that there are others that can still loves him unconditionally. Yibo is getting used to Xu Ma and Ah Xian's love and even Lam is in a better position than Zhan is Yibo's heart. Zhan feels a pang in his heart thinking about it but he knew that he cannot rushed Yibo into any kind of love. even family love, it has to be flowed naturally and seamlessly especially slowly. Zhan is an authoritive figure in the household and in business world and he does carry that aura after commanding such a high position for so many years and thus it is also time for Zhan to adjust himself in order to gain Yibo's understanding.
While one is looking out of the window for deep thoughts and the other is looking at the one that is looking at the one that is looking out of the window and also in deep thoughts until a little sharp voices yells for Yibo's name
"Ge ge, where are you, your lunch box is here" Ah Xian now is holding onto Yibo's lunch box and then he saw his papa who is now pretending to look elsewhere but Yibo.
Yibo was taken off his daze and he smiles at Ah Xian and took his lunch box, it was a nicely packed sandwiches by Xu Ma, although it is simple but to Yibo it is a lot because he never used to eating lunch and so he is not sure if he is able to finish it, so he ask Ah Xian
"Do you want some?" Yibo asks
"Errr... no ge ge needs it, fried rice tomorrow will be fine" Ah Xian told Yibo
Ah Xian then turns to his papa and saw how Zhan looks at Yibo with every details and he then smiles and mouth
"Papa, stop doing the "dumb dumb" thing" Ah Xian laughs and told Zhan
Zhan is not sure what Ah Xian is talking about and so he looks at Ah Xian and mouthed
"Huh!, what "dumb dumb" thing" Zhan asks dumbly at Ah Xian
"Papa, looking at Yibo dumbly and sometimes also act dumbly, so "dumb dumb" things" Ah Xian explains.
Xu Ma and Lam couldn't helps giggling away but very softly however, it is obvious and Zhan face turns beetroot red and looks at Ah Xian
