Richie Tozier was a small boy, a bit taller than Eddie Kaspbrak though. They were sitting on the kissing bridge together, Richie obviously trying to cover up something. He was covering a carving on the kissing bridge that read 'R+E',
Richie and Eddie. Richie Tozier was in love with Eddie, he hid it for a long, long time. Eddie wasn't the type of boy to fall in love, Richie thought. He was shy, usually kept to himself. He only really was hyper around his friends, especially Richie. They had a closer bond than anyone in their friend group.
"Eds," Richie said, looking over at Eddie and Eddie turned his head to him, "do you want to go into the forest?" Richie smiled.
It was dark in the forest. Scary to Eddie, but Richie loved it. He explored in there a lot, with Bill. Eddie was always too afraid, Mrs Kaspbrak always made up lies saying he would die if he went in there. He wouldn't, it was a safe place. Richie didn't understand why she never let him do anything. He understood why she wanted to protect him though. Eddie stared into the forest, he looked scared. "I know your mom says you'd die. But you won't, I'll protect you." Eddie smiled, Richie always cared for him.
"Fine, I guess." Eddie shuffled his shoes against the floor and smiled. Richie got up and let out his hand to grab Eddie's.
"Come on Eds!" Richie laughed and grabbed his hand.
"Don't call me that." Eddie ran after Richie, trying to catch up with him.
