Richie had walked for a long time now, the sky had starting becoming bright. But in his mind, it was still dark. He felt like nothing without Eddie. He was his only happiness sometimes. Humming to his favorite song, Richie tried to find the light again, but couldn't. He sat down against a tree stump.
A few minutes later, he heard something. A scream, it sounded like a girl's scream, but he wasn't so sure. He stood up quickly, and got his bat out his backpack, he always had it with him. He heard it again, but this time it sounded like it was being hurt. He heard nothing on the walkie talkie,
"EDDIE?!" Richie called out, "ARE YOU OKAY?" He tried signalling the walkie talkie, but no reply came back. "EDDIE! ANSWER ME IF YOU ARE THERE!" The walkie talkie signalled, but it sounded off. Richie started running around, until he came to a sudden stop. "Eddie..."
