Richie lay in his bed at home, stressing whether Eddie was okay or not. He was so tempted to go to the hospital and visit Eddie, but he wasn't told he could go yet. He shed a tear as his muscles tightened, he couldn't get his mind of him.
After a few minutes, Richie got a phone call. He picked up the phone and answered. Faster than the speed of light, his mood changed completely. His smile was like the sun, big and beaming bright. He was informed he was allowed to visit the love of his life, Eddie.
He got dressed and put his shoes on. He didn't live too far from the hospital, but it was still quite a walk. His mother and father were busy, and nobody around him could give him a lift. So he walked.
About 15 minutes later, he arrived at the hospital. He took a deep breath, and walked inside. Richie walked up to the lady in the office and asked,
"Do you know what room Eddie Kaspbrak is in? I'm here to visit him." He muttered and stuttered a little, but managed to find out he was in room 64.
As he walked in, he saw Eddie laying in his bed. His head was resting against his arm, he looked sad and alone. He turned his head to see Richie standing at the door, at this sight, he smiled immediately.
"Eds!" Richie cried in relief and ran over to him. He could see Eddie was crying a bit. They locked eyes. Richie leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. Eddie smiled at this, and grabbed him as he was moving back up. He kissed him on the lips. Resting his hand against his cheek, Richie shed another tear.
About a week later, Eddie was able to come back home. His mother had passed and he couldn't live alone, so he stayed with Richie. They lived happily forever again.
