Luz's POV (They are older and are using their original design)
I took a step out of the Owl House and let the cooler breeze flow onto my clear skin, making me only shiver a little bit as my hair flew with the wind, like a bird on a spring morning. I took in a deep breathe letting the icy air fill my lungs as I started to walk towards town, knowing that I was already a little late getting out the door.
I carefully stepped over the branches the lined the side of the dirt walkway, my head constantly wondering from reality, even though I knew I needed to get going so I could meet up with Amity. I kept walking till I could see the town coming into my vision and the tiny people slowly started to increase in size, the full view coming into picture.
I groomed over my shirt and jacket once more before I reached the town and I kept walking and watched as the sun rose in the air, the clouds drifting away and letting the blue sky shine through. "Almost there", I mumbled.
I passed a flower shop and pulled one of the pink and white rose bouquets off of one of the outside shelves and sneaked pass the owner, the guilt hit me in the stomach but I didn't turn back knowing that if I did turned back I would not only get in trouble by the owner, but I would be much later than I already was.
Amity started coming into the clearing and I could see her waiting on a bench, so I held the flowers behind my back with one hand and fixed my hair and beanie with the other hoping that Amity would take notice to my arrival.
"Hey~ Amity", I called out emphasizing 'hey', as much as I could, knowing that it would take Amity by surprise. And that's just what it did, I watched as she jumped slightly and her head shifted in my way before she stood up from the bench.
"Hi Luz", she said back before kissing my cheek, still causing me to blush even though we had been dating for six months now.
"I got you something...", I whispered out before looking up at her and her eyebrows raised, showing all of her curiosity. In response, I pulled the flowers from behind my back and displayed them off to Amity before her face lit up.
"Oh! They're beautiful!", she smiled out before continuing, "but did you pay for these?". I met her eyes nervously before laughing out and shaking my head before saying, "Well- uh no actually".
I watched as she sighed before saying, "They're pretty, but seriously, did you have to take them?". I pushed back the long green hair away from her face before saying, "Well I didn't really have cash on me and it was a last minute thing y'know", I shrugged while giving her a smug smile.
"Sure", Amity huffed out before giving me a proper hug, "Well, It's good to see you". I reciprocated the hug and smiled out, "It' good to see you too".
I let go of Amity and grabbed ahold of her hand before I started to drag her back towards the Owl House. "So where are you taking me today?", she asked, the confusion lingered in her voice as soon as she stopped talking.
I turned around and started to walk backwards, my hands still in Amity's while I answered, "Well~ I thought that I could take you to the human world today, y'know show you around for a day". Amity tilted her head to the side before narrowing her eyebrows.
"Do you think this will be a good idea", She mumbled out still walking with me. "Yea it'll be fun, trust me", I said back, and now that I think of it, I don't know if it will even be safe idea. My gut told me to stop now, but I knew if I stopped now she would start to second guess me on all of my ideas, so I kept walking.
I stopped once I felt my back hit the door and Hooty say, "Watch where you're going!". I turned around and dropped Amity's hands before hissing back, "Oh shut it, It was an accident". I turned back towards Amity and rolled my eyes before pushing open the door and walking inside.
