Roller Skating Part 2

This is the second part to Roller Skating Part 1 and it is the last part. 

Luz's POV

"Here let me help you", I said as I slipped my hand around her back and laced my hands with hers. "Oh c'mon I got myself", she mumbled out as she squirmed in my grasp, she was way too prideful and all I wanted to do was help. 

I let go of her and watched as she attempted to keep her balance but ended falling for the millionth time now. "I love you but will you please accept my help now?", I asked giving her a sly grin as I helped her up again. I watched as she shook her head and laughed, "Just give me a sec, I think I'll get a hang of this". 

"Okay then", I smiled out as I turned around and started to skate around the ring, my skates glided against the slick, wooden floor and I soon became more comfortable go faster and easing up my stance. I straighten my legs a bit and let the skates do the work as I only occasionally adjusted which way they pointed. 

Soon enough I had made my way around the ring and I had passed Amity as I hit her hair slightly, watching as it bounced up and she jumped a bit. I gave out a solid laugh at her making a high pitched scream which caused all of the eyes in the room to fall on Amity again. "C'mon Am, don't be bothering these people", I said in between laughs causing her whole face to flush and I decided to go around the ring again. 

"Oh shut up!", I heard her say as she started to become more confident in herself and she started to speed up a bit, her stance was solid. I went around the ring again and slowed down once I started to get close to Amity, but I didn't slow down enough. So, I latched my hands onto Amity's back and started to push her forward making her go even faster. 

"AaH! Luz what the-", she screamed and turned her head around and took a good look at me, I was giving her a goofy smile before I played it off and wrapped my arms around her waist. "What just came up to give you a hug", I whispered in her ear before she started laughing at me, "No way you just came up to give me a hug, you were going way too fast". 

"Pfft- sure", I said as let go of her and went in front of her and turned around to look at her, while playfully rolling my eyes. "You know I'm right, Noceda", she said as she pushed her hands up against my chest and pushed me back moderately. 

"Por supuesto tu derecho", I mumbled in Spanish, finally giving in to Amity. "oh! Did you just admit that I'm right", She squealed as she wrapped her arms around my neck. "Maybe~", I said as I lowered my eyes but I was still smiling. I didn't know how many times we had went around the ring but by the time I had looked up we were reaching the ramp that went up so I unlatched Amity's hands and went up the ramp and she followed me. 

"You wanna get something to eat, y'know enjoy some yummy human world food", I said while raising and lowering my eyebrows. She playfully slapped my shoulder as we went back over to the bench where we lied all of out stuff at and she responded, "Uh, yea sure, why not". I sat down and undid the laces and she did the same. 

"Sweeeet", I said, emphasizing the 'e'.  We both changed back into out normal shoes and I went back up to the desk and handed the women the skates and we both left hand in hand. "So where are we going to eat?", she said as I pushed open the door allowing the cold autumn air to hit both of us in the face. 

"Have you ever been to a McDonalds?", I asked as I brushed some of my hair out of my face as we continued down the sidewalk, the sun started to set. "Not that I know of", she said, you could hear the shiver in her voice. "Ok well we can go there then, but first take my jacket", I responded as I let go of her hand and pulled my jacket off of myself and helped Amity get it on herself. 

I slipped my hand back into hers and we both continued to walk, the city was becoming more prominent in my vision. "I have a question", Am said as she smoothed out some of the wrinkles in her dress. I looked over at her with curiosity in my eyes, I wonder what she needed or wanted to know.
