The Sleepover: Part II

Sherman: "Girls, I am sure there is a way to settle this peacefully."
Aubrey: "There is no way I'm going to be peaceful with her around! Besides you are my wolf. Not hers!"
Victoria: "I came because I was invited, so here I am. There is nothing you can do to make me leave puny bunny."
Aubrey: "I've known him longer than you, so that means he should be spending more time with me! Also, how am I puny? I am close to your height you lousy, blind coyote!"
Victoria lightly snarls at her.
Aubrey: "Don't go growling at me. You know he is more attracted to me than you."
Victoria: "Only in your wildest dreams!"
Aubrey gasps and was about to hit Victoria.
Sherman: "Hey, hey, come on you two! This is not a competition, and it doesn't mean that you should fight."
Aubrey: "She likes you in the same way that I do. Besides, I don't want to lose you to her."
Victoria: "My feelings are true for him!"
Victoria: "All you want to do is expose your best outfits to him. You don't really care about him as a furry individual!"
The two girls continue bickering over him, until Sherman finally thinks of something clever.
Sherman: "So... you're both interested in me, huh?"
Aubrey: "I know that I am cutie."
Victoria: "Hmph, I have a bigger crush on you than her!"
Sherman: "Okay then, how about this. Whoever wins at tic-tac toe can hang out with me. Although, if you two tie more than three times then we all hang out together without a fuss. Does that sound fair?"
Aubrey and Victoria look at him and then to each other and nod agreeably.
Aubrey: "I suppose that sounds fair."
Victoria: "Yeah, okay."
The two furry girls play tic-tac-toe until they reach a stalemate on the their fourth game.
Aubrey: "Okay two points me, and two points you."
Victoria: "This fifth game will decide it all."
Sherman watches from sidelines as the two go on the last round.
......Six minutes later......
Aubrey: "Ha! I win! Haha! I, the fabulous Aubrey win the prize! Getting even closer with my Shermie!"
Aubrey gets excited and hugs Sherman so tight before softly kissing his lips.
Aubrey: "Come on Sherman, let's see if that lunar show is still on."
Sherman: "Shouldn't we at least let Victoria tag along?"
Aubrey: "Why?"
Victoria walked away and sat near the tree with a sad expression on her face.
Sherman: "She must be feeling terrible."
Aubrey: "So what? I won the contest and I want to be with you. Besides, it's not like we care."
Sherman: "Aubrey, I care about what happens to everyone in my life. We are letting her join, okay."
Aubrey: "Okay, fine. She can hang with us."
Sherman: "Thanks, Aubs."
Aubrey: "Just remember that I am only doing this for your sake. Not hers."
Sherman: "I'll find a way to help you to get along eventually."
Aubrey: "That might take a while."
Aubrey: "Mmmwwah."
She plants a quick smooch on his cheek.
Aubrey: "I will see you inside."
Sherman: "All right."
A moment later Sherman walks towards the tree that Victoria is hiding behind.
Victoria cries silently to herself.
Sherman: "Hey Vee, I am sorry about how Aubrey was acting."
Victoria: "No...it is fine. That is just who she is. She always gets what she wants. Including you."
Victoria: "I am just a lowly coyote girl who only imagines what life could be like if I could have you. I feel like a loser."
Sherman: "Hey, look at me. Look at me."
Sherman turns Victoria's tearful eyes to his.
Sherman: "I am not going anywhere until you feel better."
Victoria: "Why are you being so nice to me?"
Sherman: "Because you are my friend, and I don't want you to miss out on all the fun planned for this afternoon."
Victoria: "Okay. I will come."
Sherman: "Also, you are not a loser. You are a kind coyote with a high level of attraction."
Victoria perks up and smiles at him.
Victoria: "You really think so?"
Sherman: "Of course I do. You're a catch. But we'll need to take our time and see how things pan out later."
Sherman was about to lead Victoria back into the mansion, but she surprises him with a kiss close to his mouth.
Victoria: "Mmmwwah! Thank you, Sherman. I feel much better now."
Sherman: "Um... that was... um...."
Victoria: "Hehehe. Sorry couldn't help it. Let's go in."
In Sherman's Mind: "Phew that felt good, but I'm not sure who to choose. Victoria or Aubrey? Oy, this is a tough one."
The pair go back inside the mansion and rejoin the others to play some video games on the Holo-Cube console.
......Upstairs in Jackson's office......
Jackson: "Finally. All done. Those reports took forever."
He turns on his small plasma screen to the Worldwide Furry News Network and notices a report showing up about the Blackjaw Hyena Clan taking a piece of the Golden Jackals territory in Downtown, Coastal City.
Jimmy Findello: "Recent reports have come in about the Blackjaw Hyenas and Golden Jackals warring it out once again on our streets."
Jimmy Findello: "Here is one of the locals who witnessed the shootout."
Male Tasmanian Devil Furry: "I am telling you. These gangs should've been stopped the second they started showing up around here! It's been six years and they still aren't behind bars."
Jimmy Findello: "What do you plan to do about it."
Male Tasmanian Devil Furry: "I'm moving me and my family back to Arkson City. That's what I am going to do."
Jimmy Findello: "I see. Thank you for your time, sir. In relevant news, a new furry hero in a mask showed up at Clearwater Elementary and stopped a shootout between members affiliated with both gangs."
Jackson: "As long as my identity remains hidden, things will go well."
He turns off the television and hides his electric baton near the second suitcase containing his super suit.
Taciana: "Bae? Are you still in there?"
Jackson: "Yeah, I am still in here, Tacci."
Taciana: "Well, come on out. Dinner is ready."

Jackson: "Okay! One moment!"
He places his stun baton and second case under the bed.
Taciana: "Jackson?"

Jackson: "Right here, babe."
Taciana: "What were you doing in there?"
Jackson: "Just packing my work stuff away is all."
Taciana: "Oh okay. Come on down, I need some help with reaching that extra plate in the lower cabinet."
Jackson: "Alright, sure. Got it."
......In the kitchen......
Taciana: "Phew, thank you sweetheart."
Jackson: "Not a problem."
......Fifty-five minutes later......
Victoria: "The food was so delicious Mrs. Tontione."
Taciana: "Thank you Victoria."
Victoria: "Years of practice when it comes to steak."
Sherman: "Hehe, good one Vee."
Aubrey rolls her eyes as she finishes her vegetable and breadsticks.
Aubrey: "Yeah, Mrs. Tontione. You're a great cook."
Taciana: "Thank you."
Sherman: "So Mom, may we be excused from the table, please?"
Taciana: "Have you all finished everything on your plates?"
Sherman looks around and sees Aziza with an unfinished broccoli tree.
Sherman: "Aziza, finish off the broccoli so we can all go upstairs and have fun."
Aziza: "But I'm so full big brother."
Sherman: "Come on lil sis, just one more piece."
Aziza: "Okay."
She says poutingly and chews the broccoli tree.
Sherman: "Yes, let's go!"
Jackson: "Ahem, you're forgetting something."
Sherman: "Hmm?"
Jackson: "Your plates. Put them in the automatic dishwasher so they can get cleaned for tomorrow."
Sherman: "Yes, Dad."
Jackson Junior: "Okay."
Mallory: "Got mine."
Zaino: "Of course."
Aziza: "Like this, Daddy?"
Jackson: "Yes, like that. Good job."
Aubrey: "No worries Mr. Tontione, we got this."
Victoria: "Yeah."
The kids finished putting their plates in the dishwasher and were allowed to go and continue their night of fun.
......In the main playroom......
Sherman: "Okay, let's the party portion of this afternoon started!"
Aubrey: "I call dancing with Sherman first!"
Sherman: "This does involve dancing."
Aubrey: "Ha! I knew it!"
Victoria: "Aubrey, he wasn't done talking."
Sherman: "Anyway, this game is called 'Guess the Beat."
Jackson Junior: "Aha! I love this game!"
Aziza: "Yeah, it's so much fun!"
Zaino: "I hope that techno song by Dravonis plays out. That's easy for me."
Mallory: "What are we waiting for? Time to guess and break down!"
Everyone: "Whoo!"
They cheer together before playing the game.
......Five hours later......
Taciana: "Okay children, it's time for bed."
Sherman: "Could we have a few more minutes? Me and Victoria were reaching the high score!"
Taciana: "Well, now it is past your bedtime."
Jackson: "She's right son. It's already past 11:30pm. Brush your teeth and go to bed."
Sherman: "Okay. Night Mom. Night Dad."
Jackson: "Goodnight son. That includes you two."
Aubrey: "Yes, sir."
Victoria: "Not a problem. I was starting to yawn anyways."
Jackson Junior: "Goodnight, Momma."
Aziza: "Night, Mommy!"
Zaino: "What they said." (yawns)
Mallory: "Night, Mom! Night, Dad!"
Taciana: "Goodnight, everyone."
Jackson: "All right, onto the master bedroom milady."
Taciana: "Hehehe. Lead the way."
The entire Tontione mansion is quiescent in the night.
