The Act of a True Boss

Jackson gets up early and awakens Sherman's four other siblings to help them prepare for the school day.
Jackson: "Alright kids, let's go. The faster we wake up and the earlier we are."
Jackson Junior: "Right."
Mallory: "Yes, Dad."
Zaino: "Ya."
Aziza: "Yes, Dada."
Jackson: "Good."
Aziza: "Where is Mommy?"
Jackson: "She's still sleeping. However, she will see you before you all go to school."
Aziza: "Okay."
Jackson: "Wait, where's Sherman? Where is your brother?"
He asks all of them.
Jackson Junior: "He's probably around here somewhere."
Jackson: "Sherman! You and your friends better come on up!"
Sherman: "Coming, Dad!"
He finishes his short workout in the family gym.
Aubrey and Victoria look at him infatuated eyes.
Aubrey: "Loving the muscles, Shermie."
Sherman: "Thanks, Aubrey."
Victoria grunts internally with a jealous expression.
Victoria: "Sherman, what is on the breakfast list?"
Sherman: "I make this special light and fit mix breakfast almost every morning."
Victoria: "Really? What does consist of?"
Sherman: "Scrambled egg whites, one hardboiled egg, a side of toast, and small batch of fruit."
Victoria: "Sounds yummy. Who taught you how to make healthy dishes? Cause my folks rarely teach me how to cook."
Sherman: "I could show you how, if you're interested."
Victoria: "Sure, that would be swell."
She walks beside him while the three of them walk upstairs to the main kitchen.
Jackson: "Hey you three. You have fun last night?"
Victoria: "Yes, Mr. Tontione."
Aubrey: "Sherman made it fun, sir."
Jackson: "Glad you all had a good time."
Sherman: "It certainly was, Dad."
Sherman and Victoria then team up to make a light and fit breakfast.
......A little later......
Jackson then packs all of his children's lunches, while their friends Aubrey and Victoria take a few energy bars as snacks as they pack their book bags.
Taciana: "Mmm... good morning baby."
Jackson: "Hey, Tacci."
Jackson: "Get enough beauty sleep?"
Taciana: "Har, har. I thought you'd wake me up beforehand?"
Jackson: "Believe me, I wanted to my lovely bunny, but duty calls."
Taciana: "Okay, just don't forget to call me once you get there."
Jackson: "If you're worried about the new gang uprising. It's not going to stop me."
Taciana: "I know Jacky, but please be extra careful regardless."
Jackson: "I'm a star survivor baby. I got this."
Taciana: "Hehe, okay star survivor. I'll see you when you are home."
Jackson then grabs his work suitcases and heads out the front doors to his car.
......Twenty minutes later......
Taciana: "Okay kids, the bus is here. Run along now."
All the children grab their backpacks and walk to the school bus.
Sherman: "Bye, Mom!"
Taciana: "Bye! Have a great day at school!"
......Meanwhile......
Jackson walks into the building and is greeted by all his employees. Especially, some of the lady furries who have a twinkle in their eye whenever he is near. One of them is often sweaty when he comes over to speak with her about her tasks for the day. Her name is Teissa Yules, a light backed jackal furry who works at his building as an assistant secretary. She even has something ambitious on her mind involving a possible promotion.
Teissa Yules: "Oh my Gosh! He is so dang attractive!"
She whispers to herself and as her lips sweat.
Teissa: "How am I supposed to tell him exactly what I want, when all I do is give him most the employee reports?"
In Teissa's Mind: "I can't be his secretary forever. I need to act now if I want this new job position."
She walks over to Jackson's office door and politely knocks.
Jackson hears a knock on the door.
Jackson: "Come in."
Teissa: "Hi Mr. Tontione, I was wondering if we could go and talk over a drink?"
Jackson: "What are you asking me, Teissa?"
He finished typing up his company's annual revenue report.
Teissa: "I said I am asking you out for a cup of coffee at my place, sir."
Jackson: "You do know that I am married right?"
He looks at her questioningly.
Teissa: "I know, but it is not like a date or anything it's just a talk about open job position that I applied for a week ago."
Jackson: "Oh yes, the one for Chief Marketing Analyst right?"
Teissa: "That is correct."
Jackson: "I was kinda considering Janice for the position."
Teissa: "What? But I've been here longer than her and I understand most the marketing protocols for this firm."
Jackson: "Well I am your CEO and boss. Never forget who decides which positions go to whom around here."
Teissa: "Do you not get it Jackson, I cannot be fetching coffee or delivering physical files forever!"
Jackson: "Keep your voice down and have a seat right now."
Nappine hears Teissa's outburst and comes into Jackson's office.
Nappine: "Did something happen?"
Jackson: "Everything is fine Nappine. You can continue working."
Nappine: "Okay, sir."
She does as he says and continue her daily tasks after she closes the door.
Jackson then thinks about what he said to Teissa and continues the conversation.
Jackson: "What do you mean you can't deliver files or coffee anymore?"
Teissa: "I feel like I'm just the gofer of this entire building and no one else even regards my existence or contributions."
Jackson displays only a look of surprise and shock.
Jackson: "Look we will talk about this after work okay."
Teissa: "Can we take it to my place?"
Jackson: "Wherever you feel more comfortable talking."
Teissa: "At 11:30pm?"
Jackson: "Sure, now get back to work."
Teissa: "Um okay. Thank you sir."
......At 10:00pm......
Jackson: "I cannot believe that I had to deal with these reports and an under-appreciated employee on the same day."
He cleans up his desk and sends every financial reports via email to his corporate team.
......Twenty five minutes later......
Jackson: "Taciana is not going to like this."
He walks through the front door of the mansion door.
Taciana cooks some dinner for Jackson and the kids.
Taciana: "He is going to love the fish and salad I have prepared." (smirks)
Jackson walks in and places his suitcase down by the door and surprises her in the kitchen by massaging her sides.
Taciana: "Hehe. Hi honey." (smiles)
Jackson: "How was your day, Sugar Bunny?"
Taciana: "It was nice. I took the kids to the playground, and now they are upstairs napping."
Jackson: "Are you feeling okay, Tacci?"
Taciana: "I am okay. These other little ones have been kicking for a while is all."
Jackson: "Ya know... I can cook for a change if you feel tired."
Jackson: "Mmmmwwah."
Taciana: "You are very sweet, but I don't mind making you dinner."
Taciana: "Speaking of which, how was work for you today?"
Jackson: "I got everything done and sent more financial paperwork to the corporate team for the audit."
Taciana: "That's good!"
Taciana: "What else did you do today?"
Jackson: "Well, I have to meet up with one of my employees at 11:30pm about giving her a new position in my company."
Taciana: "Oh, did she apply for it?"
Jackson: "Yes."
Taciana: "Is she qualified for the position?"
Jackson: "Yes, but so are a few others who applied for it."
Taciana: "I think you should give her the job."
Jackson: "But I placed her as one of the secretaries, not an analyst. She has the smarts, but I don't think has the drive to be a Chief Marketing Analyst."
Taciana: "Jackson, what are one of the virtues we live by?"
Jackson: "Compassion." (scoffs)
Taciana: "Yes, and it means you should consider her as a potential candidate."
Jackson: "Alright, I'll think about it."
Taciana: "There is the Jacky I fell for."
She nuzzles him before he goes back outside to his car.
Jackson: "I will be back before you know it, Tacci."
Taciana: "Okay Jackson, be safe out there, but don't take too long."
Jackson blows her a kiss as Taciana catches it while smiling.
