Homecoming Rescues

Marion: "Do you think he'll strike somewhere else again?"
Jackson: "Knowing what Vakatarus is capable of? Yeah, he stop until his thirst for world domination is satisfied."
Marion: "Well, if you and your son ever need backup. We are just a portal away."
Jackson: "Thank you, Marion. We'll be in touch. Come on, Sherman. Say goodbye to Tyalla."
Sherman: "Okay, Dad. One second!"
Tyalla: "You're leaving already?"
Sherman: "Yeah, for now. But I might come back for a visit sometime. I'll friend you on Furbook once me and my Dad return to Coastal City."
Tyalla: "Wait! Here is my number in case something bad happens or if you need any help."
Sherman: "Alright, I guess I'll call you then."
Tyalla: "Great! Bye Sherman! Bye Mr. Tontione!"
Jackson says the location and focuses his spiritual power to open the portal of Tyndarus.
The portal opens, revealing the hotel room.
Jackson and Sherman go through the portal and pack up their stuff.
Jackson: "That was some day, huh?"
Sherman: "Are you kidding? We were awesome! We stopped the Harbinger of Chaos in one day! Pew! Pew! Pew! With our powers. Can't wait to teach him another lesson in getting his tail whupped!"
Jackson: "Hehe, we sure did, son. Hopefully he won't be going after anyone else for a while."
Sherman: "Night, Dad."
Jackson: "Goodnight, Sherman. Check-out time is at 11:00am tomorrow."
Sherman: (yawns) "Okay."
In the morning, Jackson and Sherman woke up, pack their luggage, and summon the portal of Tyndarus.
The portal sends them back to Coastal City, but not Jackson imagined.
Sherman: "Dad? Are we close to home?"
Jackson: "No buddy, we are on the edge of Midtown. However... something's not right."
Sherman: "What do we do now?"
Jackson: "First we need to hail a ride."
Sherman: "How?"
Jackson: "I'll call a taxi service and someone will take us home."
Sherman: "Okay."
.....Some time later.....
An electric taxi arrives and picks them up at their location and packs their luggage in the trunk.
Jackson: "Hello, there. Could you take us to this address?
Bull Furry Driver: "5397 Wilderness Way, Ventalaide Falls, Coastal City 61103. You got it, Chief."
The driver takes them en route through Midtown and closer their neighborhood, right outside of Uptown, Coastal City.
Jackson calls Taciana to check up on her and the rest of his children. Taciana picks up her smartphone as it vibrates.
Taciana: "Hello?"
Jackson: "Hey, Tacci. It's me."
Taciana: "Hey baby! How did the spiritual training go? How was the Sonear mountain?"
Jackson remembered the skills he learned and the time he and Sherman spent with the Marion Travier and her daughter.
Jackson: "It was interesting."
Taciana: "Really? How so?"
Jackson: "Well for one thing, the mentor taught me how to harness spiritual energy and use it against the evil forces in the world."
Taciana: "Ooh that's great honey. I am glad you and Shermie excelled greatly on your journey."
She gets interrupted.
Zaino: "Mommy?"
He jumps for attention.
Taciana: "Hold on Jacky, Zaino wants to talk to you."
Zaino: "Daddy?"
Jackson: "Hey! How are you doing, buddy?"
Zaino: "I have been good. Oh and JJ created a wristband tracker for Ruth. He even says that he likes her a lot." (laughs)
Jackson Junior: "I said like her as a friend! Not as anything else!"
He says in a defensive but flustered tone.
Zaino: "Right... sure you do. Hahaha!"
Jackson Junior: "I am serious!"
Zaino: "You are in denial big brother. Hahaha!"
Jackson Junior: "Shut your mouth!"
Taciana: "Alright you two, that is enough fighting."
Jackson Junior: "He started it!"
Taciana: "It doesn't matter who did because I'm ending it. Now shake hands and get along. Understood?"
JJ and Zaino: "Understood."
They both say at the same time.
Taciana: "Sorry about that bae, the boys were arguing ."
Jackson: "It is alright, Bunny Boo. We can continue this conversation at home."
Taciana: "Okay, I will see you then my Sugar Dhole."
She presses hang up on her smartphone and prays quietly to herself.
Taciana: "Great Vitaea Spirits, please bless my husband and oldest son on their safe return home."
Meanwhile, Jackson stops the taxi after he notices a mugging taking place within an alley.
Jackson: "Uh Oh. Trouble. Looks like it's time for action. Driver! Stop the car here and don't leave yet."
Bull Furry Driver: "You got it."
Sherman: "Wait... can I help?"
Jackson: "Alright, but let's not mention any rescue missions to your mother."
Sherman: "Yeah, come on let's go! We can take 'em!"
Bandit Furry 1: "Hi there Amélie. Seems like you were about drop your wallet into my paws."
Snow Leopard Girl: "I am not giving up anything to you creeps!"
She smacks one of them with her purse.
Bandit Furry 2: " Oww!"
Bandit Furry 3: "Hold her down!"
Bandit Furry 4: "Give us everything you got!"
Bandit Furry 1: "Not giving up? Guess it is slicing time. Hehehe!"
He pulls a Swiss army knife out of his pocket.
Jackson: "Hey! Crook one through four!"
Amélie: "Jackson Tontione."
She looks at him with relief.
Bandit Furry 1: "This does not concern you dhole!"
Bandit Furry 2: "Yeah, you and your mini-wolf better keep walking, fool!"
Jackson: "No, I don't think so. I do know that me and my son will teach you a lesson if you don't give the nice lady her purse back."
Bandit Furry 1: "Hehehe. Boys, let's show him who runs this part of the city."
Jackson: "I warned you."
The first three attack them at once, but Jackson and Sherman quickly knock them out with several nerve punches. Then use their light energy to levitate the final bandit high in the sky.
Bandit Furry 4: "What the heck! Ahhhh!"
Jackson: "It is called spreading the power of light and you are well on your to being splattered into pieces. Sound good?"
Bandit Furry 4: "Ahhhh! Alright! I give up. I give up!"
Jackson ties all four of the bandits up and leaves them for the task force to find them.
Jackson: "Are you okay?"
Snow Leopard Girl: "The legendary Jackson Tontione, right in front of me. I can't believe you are here! I definitely appreciate the rescue."
Jackson: "You are welcome Miss...?"
Snow Leopard Girl: "Amélie."
Jackson: "Good to meet you, Amélie."
Amélie: "It's a pleasure meeting you too, Jackson."
Suddenly, gets an alert from his second, encrypted smartphone.
Jackson: "It was nice to make your acquaintance, but me and my son have to get home now."
Amélie: "Wait! How do I find you, if ever need help?"
Jackson: "We'll find you if there's ever an emergency."
Sherman: "Where are we going next, Dad?"
Jackson: "We are heading on another rescue mission, because whenever someone's in need. A hero's responsibility is to act before or whenever something horrible befalls them."
Sherman: "Ooh, okay."
Jackson and Sherman return to the taxi and it stops at the next desired location. Then as they enter it they find the cause of the disturbance. A girl being severely hassled by one of the patrons.

Female Dingo Bartender: "What can I get you?"
Male Wolf Patron: "Grape wine and a margarita cocktail with a side dish of you."
Female Dingo Bartender: "Two strong drinks coming up."
She pours the drinks and slides them to the patron.
Male Wolf Patron: 'Gulps Drinks' Ya know. You looking like a real... tall... glass of...uh... 'Hiccup' ...water lady."
Female Dingo Bartender: "No stop Todd, your too drunk."
Todd Cipadel: "Hahaha! Lighten... up.... Cherisse... just want to... have another one so I can end this."
Cherisse Wolens: "No, Todd. You can't keep doing this to yourself. This much alcohol is killing you and robbing you of your judgement."
Todd: "Bullcrap! If I'm gonna drink, I'll drink. Just like if asked ya to out with me, you would."
Cherisse: "Todd, that was long before you were an alcoholic."
Todd: "Then maybe I'll teach ya lesson right now."
He tries grabbing her arm and then as he grips Cherisse's left paw, he pulls her forward to the bar counter. Todd grabs her and hair; causing Cherisse to holler in distress.
Cherisse: "No! Stop this right now! Stop it! Aaah, my gosh! Todd! Quit it!"
Todd: "Ain't no escaping now Cherisse!"
Jackson: "Hey!"
Todd: "What?"
Jackson pulls him backwards and knocks him to the floor.
Jackson: "Someone oughta teach you some proper manners."
Todd: "Get out of my way!"
Sherman uses his powers to make him trip and fall unconscious. Jackson checks then checks his pulse.
Cherisse: "Is he...?"
Jackson: "He will be fine. Are you okay, miss?"
Cherisse: "Yeah, I'm alright. Thank you both. Oooh, Ow! Gosh that hurts."
Sherman: "Me and Dad can heal your pain, Ma'am."
Cherisse: "You can?"
Jackson and Sherman place their glowing paws on Cherisse and her pain fades away.
Cherisse: "This is miraculous. I can't believe it. The pain is gone. Ya know what? If you ever come by for a drink or something, it's on the house."
Jackson: "I'll keep that mind, miss. Let's go, Sherman."
......3 and half miles later......
As the afternoon darkens, Jackson and Sherman make it home in a record time.
Sherman: "Home at last! Haha!
Jackson: "Seems quiet enough."
Jackson opens the door and walks into the kitchen. He notices his wife feeding Zakari, Angel, Joseph, Cecelia, Jaronte, Eliza freshly warmed milk.
Taciana: "Shh, that's it my little babies, drink up.
Angel: "Dadaba?"
Taciana: "Shh... shh... Daddy will be back soon."
She smiles down at them proudly as they drink their fill and she burps them one by one.
Zakari: (burp)
Angel: (burp)
Joseph: (burp)
Cecelia: (burp)
Jaronte: (burp)
Eliza: (burp)
Taciana then tucks them in as they slowly drift into a peaceful slumber. She then plants a smooch on each of their little foreheads.
Jackson decides to surprise her from behind.
He whispers in her ear quietly as he sneaks up behind her.
Jackson: "Ya know. It is a privilege watching you work your magic on them."
Taciana: "Ooh, Jacky, you're back! I missed you so much!"
Jackson: "Missed you too, baby. Mmmmwwah."
Taciana: "Mmmmwwah."
Jackson: "So how were things while we were away?"
Taciana: "Things were okay here. The kids are playing outside with their friends from school."
Jackson: "Oh yeah, there they are. Sherman get yourself unpacked and you can go out and play."
Sherman: "Yes! Oh and Mom, the trip was awesome! We trained and we mastered our powers and rode the Super Slide! Unnnh! Yeah!"
Taciana: "Hehe! I'm glad you had fun, kiddo."
Sherman goes and unpacks his clothes in his room.
Sherman goes outside and joins JJ, Zaino, Aziza, Mallory, Zelene, Lucas, Cherie Mae, Stella, Redford, Jobahan, Triskah, Aubrey, Riley, Radinavia, and Helena playing outside. Then Victoria and Ruth, the coyote sisters enter the game of tag and accidentally bump Jackson Junior to the ground.
Jackson Junior: "Yikes!
Ruth: "JJ! I am so sorry. Are you hurt?"
Jackson Junior: "I'm alright, Ruth. No harm done."
Ruth: "Oh, good. Because I was hoping that we could talk for a little bit."
The pair go to the backyard for their chat while Jackson and Taciana notice from inside the main household.
Taciana: "Hehe, they are gonna get close, baby."
Jackson: "I have no doubts about that, Tacci. No doubts about that."
