The boy blanched from the sight of his master once he had stormed in. He was not just the boy's master, but he's the master of the animal language. In the Great Hall, his master tapped his boot upon the floor, and arms folded against his chest in stony silence.

The boy could not fathom the scar upon his master's brow that curled like a bridge. His burly frame instantly reminded the boy of a Spartan warrior, and he knew something must have gone wrong just by the look that darkened on his face.

"Master, you are back," He bowed slightly.

"Yes, I am," He snapped. There was fury in his eyes, and his master forced back his wrath. "Is there anything I can do for you, master?" The boy asked and repeated the question until his master broke out in a thunderous roar.

"Shut up!" He bellowed until it reached the ceiling.

"You are standing there as if you hadn't committed a sin. I declare, out of all people, I never knew you would be the one who has the audacity to steal my precious belonging!"

"Why, I stole something?" The boy lifted his head suddenly. "I-I implore you, I beseech, upon my word, I didn't!" He swore from the tip of his tongue and his voice echoed in the air. The boy drew forward and dropped his knee upon the floor, clasping his pallid hands tightly before his master.

"You're a thief and a treacherous boy. You know the penalty of it when one does these things."

"Master, trust me! I didn't do it! I swear to you." The boy was shaking his fist, looking like a beggar--yet he begged for his life, just to prove his innocence.

"Get up," The man groaned. "You think a ghost would take my key?" Silence hung in the hall. The man clenched his teeth and barked, "I ask you once again, do you think a ghost took my key, boy?"

"No," His voice was strained as he drooped his head. "But I didn't do it." He said with a look of grief written across the boy's face.

But above them, there was a monkey on the banister, lingering there with a key in the palm of his black hand
