Winter has approached and snow is greeting us with its familiar softness and beauty. I always admired snow. I remember playing with my siblings and dad in our yard where we used build snowman, throw small lump of snow and have lots of fun. It all seems like a foreign memory to me now. With enthusiasm lost, Dad's presence gone everything feels lifeless in this winter.
"Hun, Can you please help me here? I'm in the storeroom "
Storeroom?
Without thinking about it again, I rushed to moms help. She was there coughing because of the dirt filled atmosphere. "Mom, move. I'll get you what you want. It's not good for your health. "
She coughs again and then nods walking away. I bent down on my knees and start looking for what she asked me to. While moving my hand here and there to look for it, I accidentally dropped a vase. Thankfully, it doesn't crack or break.
Slowly, I pick it up and place it on a box when my eyes land on a piece of paper. I blink. My hand slowly reaches out and takes the paper. I am curious. Why will there be a paper? In Dad's table vase.
If you are reading this, I can say years have passed since my demise. Well, I bet you're not reading this because you and your mom are equally absent-minded. Both of you are so dumb.. What do I do??
Dad, Seriously? I stare at the words and read again. Was he serious? Is this how he used to begin a letter? With insult, my prestige is bruised.
besides it doesn't matter anymore. I love you both and even your foolishness. I know that I don't have left much time. They are coming after me. For their revenge.
