"It seems as I've left one" Toroark muttered lowly, half his head covered in blood as he sauntered over to the still boy before him, this scent was so familiar, so intense.

Like a bitter curse on his tongue.

After ravaging the lands of Awrel, killing all in his power finally he could go back home and show them all, he was not weak.

"I'm your worst nightmare demon!" The tiny child bit back, snow coating his ginger hair, body bitten by the frost clutching a weapon just as useless as he.

Rolling his eyes at such cliche words Toroark paused. "Demons could not harness this power, I am the very god your people prayed to, I am all powerful."

The child seemed to take a step back before scowling. "You're a prick"

"Excuse me?"

"And you call yourself a god, ha! My mum told me gods were pretty and glowed, you're a real ugly baby."

Oh he did not like being called ugly by a runt who looked like a stray cat. "You speak back to a God?!" His rough hand gripped the thin fragile neck pulling the boy closer with ease towards his chest, the thrum of his heart was only growing stronger.

A large devilish smirk appraised the child's lips as he peaked his head up, staring foolishly directly into his eyes. "You know technically I'm the strongest mortal here, not sure if you want to go up against me"

"I just killed your entire clan-"

The Spiteful child wriggled out of his grasp. "And we haven't even exchanged names yet!" The boy outreached, it almost felt like some sick joke. "You can call me Gwenwyn, you can call me Gwen for short though"

Toroark snorted not bothering to accept the strange greeting. "A charming name, your parents must of loved you."

"They fed me every so often, you know I'm a bit of a god myself."

That bristled his nerves. "Is that so? It's rude you know to impersonate the gods could end up a spider or a frog."

"Or a child for eternity" Gwen muttered. "Belive me creepo I know the song and dance, look around and you'll see pictures of me everywhere."

"No, you already annoy me and I did say I was going to kill you-"

"Fine but you'll regret it."

The god paused, his brow arching slightly, no this couldn't possibly be a threat. No human would be stupid enough. "I don't Regret."

"Great then take me with you." The boy innocently smiled.

"Fucking bastard-" He looked around for a moment before shifting a little, he was a greedy god, wanting to know and own all.

His husband was going to kill him.

"So that's a yes?" Those green eyes sparkled and greed reared it's ugly head once more. "On a condition." Toroark agreed.

"You will come with me and lose your freedom to the mortal realm, these memories shall be no more, some may call it brainwashing, I call it reform."

Not even for a moment did Gwen doubt himself taking the strange creatures hand and smiling. "Sure whatever you say demon."

"It's Toroark, the pleasure is all mine, you little curse."
