Wait until night

Chapter 9

August

I never knew Ava's last name was... VanHelsing! The VanHelsing's have been working with the werewolves forever... to destroy... vampires! I have to leave! WAIT! Ava doesn't know! I can't let her find out. If I see any blood, I might just go for it, it's been years but the monster inside of me won't hesitate to go for it...

When we got our snacks and drinks, we went down to Reagna's theatre. I sat down at the highest level. Level 3 seat 5 so I was in the middle of the entire theater. It was the best until Ava pushed me out of the seat.

"The best gets the best seat!!" I hate her so bad!
"If you even WANTED to be friends with us, then you should respect what OTHERS want! Not just what you think you need!" I said with anger.

"Whatever!" Ava said as she flicked her hair off her shoulder.

The theater was completely silent throughout the whole movie, but when it ended... this happened.

"AVA!! WE HAVE TO GO!!!" Brooklyn yelled as she looked out the window.

"Why so soon?" Reagan asked.

"That doesn't concern you REEEEEEEAGAN!" Ava yelled the really rude nickname she gave Reagan.

"Yeah it does actually because Brooklyn has ALWAYS been OUR best friend! NOT YOURS!!!" Reagan is finally standing up for herself! I'm very proud!
"Well I'm Ava's best friend now! And if we stay you have to close the-" Brooklyn started but then we heard a super loud howl.
"What was that?" Taylor asked.

"JAKE!!" Brooklyn said as she ran out the door to greet him.

I ran to the window and saw... uh oh! WEREWOLF! But Brooklyn was nowhere to be found. Then a second werewolf appeared from the darkness. It can't be! Brooklyn isn't... she not... a... werewolf!!!

"August! You have to go!" Reagan yelled.

"Well that's my cue! Bye weirdos!" Ava said as she slammed the door behind her.

"WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!! AUGUST!!! REAGAN!!! YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN ACTING SUPER DIFFERENT!!!! SO HAS BROOKLYN!!! IT"S LIKE I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO YOU GUYS ARE!!!!" Taylor yelled, basically ripping her hair out.

"Taylor... it's complicated!" Reagan said.

"OH! I GUESS KEEPING SECRETS FROM ME IS COMPLICATED!!!" Taylor is going to lose her voice because she's screaming... a lot!!!

I looked at her, she looked like she was going crazy, I wanted to tell we because I felt so bad, but I knew I couldn't tell her, so I looked out the window to see two werewolves and Ava, then she pointed inside, I knew she didn't know I was a vampire but she didn't like me.

"They are werewolves!" I shouted.

"What!" Taylor screamed. And then the door opened upstairs and I heard another really loud howl. then suddenly, it went quiet. Oh no, then the lights flickered and went out, there was only the faint light coming from the screen of the tv. I saw Reagan's eyes through the darkness. I sighed and ran over to her and Taylor.

"WE NEED TO LEAVE NOW!" I whispered loudly.

"SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON FIRST!" Taylor yelled once more.

"WE CAN'T TELL YOU H-" I got interrupted by a crashing sound coming from the window.

A werewolf has jumped on Reagan. She was pinned to the ground and no way to get it off of her. Then the werewolf opened its jaw and bit her in the arm. She screamed a horrible scream. I didn't want to give my identity, but I can't let the werewolf kill her. I was going in for the kill. But just then another window shattered and Slater came in. He looked at Reagan then attacked the werewolf. The werewolf got off of Reagan and started to attack Slater. I knew Slater could take him for a second.

I looked at the moon to see the clouds were just about to cover the moon, then they will become people again. Then the clouds covered the moon. The werewolf that was attacking Slater turned into Jake! JAKE!!!! And the other werewolf that was outside on the rock, turned into Brooklyn. How did she become a werewolf!? Even though Brooklyn was a human now, she howled. Jake and Ava ran out to her then they disappeared into the dark night.

I turned back to Slater, Taylor, and Reagan. I looked at Reagan's arm. It had a really big bite mark on it. Reagan looked at her wound then passed out. I wanted to help her but I didn't know what to do. I've never really healed a human.... I've never healed a HUMAN! I knew what I had to do... but I didn't want to.
