Chapter 15

August

I was sitting in my first class Streaming. Some girl in the hallway told me she had seen my brother with some other girl. I was going to find him and kill him! How could he do that to Reagan! The second the bell rang, I ran over to Slater' first class. I didn't care about people seeing me. I could hear his voice.

He was walking really slow, ugh. I saw him walking out and right behind him was my sister!!!!!!!!!! I ran away as fast as I could. I ran so fast that no one could even see me. I knew exactly why they were here, they wanted to talk to me and know where I was staying. I was not ready for that. I hurried to the courtyard and hid in the bushes. I had the rest of my classes with Slater, there was no way that I would go. I was tempted to go to where I was staying, but I decided to stay. What would I do there anyways.

I could go shopping for more clothes, but people would ask why I wasn't in school. I would go after school to avoid the questions. I looked up to see someone coming. I couldn't see who it was, but I didn't think it was my sister or Slater. I moved deeper into the bushes hoping to avoid them too. I got a message from Slater, it read,

"I know you're ditching class, but me and Lydia just want to talk. We can sneak out and find you so that no one will overhear us if that's what you want. We just want to talk."

Ugh!! Didn't he realize that I didn't want to? I was so focused on what I was reading, that I didn't notice someone was watching me.

"Hey, August!" he said. I looked up to see Logan. Thank goodness he could save me from my misery. "How did you find me?" I asked. "Believe it or not, I saw you" he laughed. "Oh, I forgot that you were good at that" I responded. "Hahaha" he laughed. "Come on, let's go to my new place." I said.

"What new place?" he asked, confused.

"Oh I moved out of my parents house." I said.

"But you are not old enough!" he said. I love Logan. He is super supportive and he really cares about me.
