The stars, they say
have much control
over all that passes on earth.
Our lives; our loves;
our health and happiness-
almost everything we consider of worth.
The stars, the stars
that twinkle up
in that beautiful black abyss.
Thet say they're to blame
for all things of wonder
and even when things go amiss.
The stars, the stars
So many theories.
It's an astrologist's task
to decipher their secrets;
"Who put those stars up there?"
Is what I ask.
