"By faith we have been made acceptable to God." - Romans 5:1
It is deifficult to fit in.
That is what we think when we encounter people or circumstances in which we feel out of place. This is because we know we are different to them or they are different from us. When people recognize the difference, they will put a distance and somehow will no longer accept us for who we are.
But that is the total opposite with God. We are different from Him, but He never allowed that difference to separate us from Him. We are underserving of His grace and yet through His son Jesus Christ, we are made acceptable to His heart.
Being acceptable means, " we gladly suffer because we know that suffering helps us to endure." - Rom.5:3. Being able to endure means being stronger to resist temptations. Being able to resist the temptations leads us to pure heart. Being pure in heart means being acceptable to God.
We are now acceptable to God through Christ and the Lord makes peace with us.
We do not need to fit in this world, we will leave it soon. But in heaven, we are welcome to enjoy every moment with the Lord. How happy it can be if you have the Lord by your side?
