Kate is standing in front of Carlos' apartment unit in Manila. She's contemplating whether to knock on the door or not. Her travel from Laguna to Manila took three hours and few minutes . It's already night time when she came to the address Carlos' mom gave to her.

She widen her eyes in shock when the door suddenly opened. She sighed in relief when she saw Yael who looks shock too.

"Kate? What are you doing here? It's already late."

"I know but... I just want to visit Carlos. I can't wait any longer to talk with him, Yael." She said. Her mind is filled with questions since these past few days that only Carlos can answer.

"Ah... I see. Carlos is not yet home though. Just come inside and wait for him, Kate." Yael said, then wide opened the door for her who remain frozen on her spot. "What's wrong? Don't worry, I won't do anything bad to you. Carlos will surely kill me."

She smiled. "I know you won't do anything bad to me, Yael. But... Where did Carlos go? I will just look for him outside. Don't worry because I'm good in finding places. "

"Are you sure? I can walk with you to the coffee shop." He said making her frowned when she remembered her last phone call with Carlos' 'secret friend' last time.

"You don't have to, Yael. I can go to wherever that coffee shop is. I hope is not too far from here." She said, smiling at him.

"It's already late, Carlos. You better go home now and take a rest. I'm sure you will visit your princess this weekend again." Jade said, talking to Carlos who's still sitting on the table and reading a book.

He sighed, closed his book before looking at her. She's standing in front of him after serving his second order of black coffee. "I don't know if I can do that, Jade. I-I want to visit Kate but... I'm afraid to see her kissing that guy once again."

Jade stand next to him, then gently caressed his hair. He felt touched in her action so he gave her a warm smile. "Don't be sad, Carlos. Just always remember that I will always be here for you, as long as you want me to stay with you."

He frowned. "What are you saying? Of course. I will always want you to stay with me. You're such a good friend of mine, Jade."

She nodded, then smiled bitterly. "I have to go now, Carlos. I still have a work to attend." She glared at him, and talk in her bossy tone. "After you finished drinking this coffee, go home and take a rest in your dorm, okay?"

 He chuckled. "Yes, ma'am."

They gave one last smile for each others before she went back to the counter. They have no idea that Kate is now standing outside the coffee shop. She silently watched Carlos and Jade interactions a while ago on the glass wall.

After finishing his second order of coffee, Carlos said goodbye to Jade, then walked back to the dorm. Yael greeted him with a teasing smile as soon as he entered their shared room.

"What's with that creepy smile, bro?" Carlos asked before lying down on the sofa. He feels physically tired in his school works, and emotionally tired because of his one-sided love for Kate.

"Why you look sad, bro? I thought I will saw you being so happy tonight after seeing your princess." Yael said making Carlos looked at him with a frown. "Don't tell me you didn't saw her? She went here to visit you a while ago."

Carlos widen his eyes, then sat up quickly. "What? Where is she now?"

Yael frowned. "She said she's good in finding places. I told her the exact address of your favorite coffee shop. I thought she safely arrived there and already talked with you but..."
