Espio and Destinee were standing in front of each other ready for a friendly-duel. They readied their fighting stance while at the same time, looking cautiously at each other's eyes for their next move.
A while later, Destinee broke the silence,"Remember, Espio, we're having a friendly-duel, not a real battle, but remember one rule for now: No camouflage abilities, okay?".
Espio hesitated, but a moment later, he said, "Okay, but only for today".
She nodded in response as the friendly-duel was about to begin. They both waited for a moment, but nothing happened. When they felt like something didn't happen to the two of them, Destinee decided to make a move and was going to kick him in the chest, but Espio blocked it with his strong hands and put it on the ground.
Wow. He sure did see this coming, she thought as she looked carefully for his martial arts move.
Espio decided to throw a kick at her temple, but she blocked it with her arms. He even tested her by throwing his shurikens and kunai at her, but she dodged them with a sharp eagle-eye and cautious moves to avoid them. He was again impressed by how she dodged them.
Destinee decided to throw a punch at his face (not too hard because it's a friendly-duel), but he dodged it by tilting his head to his left. Move by move, these two chameleons kept blocking and dodging each other's kicks and punches, even if they looked carefully. They were impressed by what they did.
Soon, Destinee found that she was blinded by smoke bombs. She secretly feared that she was not ready for it yet as the only ninja weapon she had was her father's katana. She looked around cautiously for Espio's next move, but unfortunately, no luck. A few moments later, she was thrown gentle kicks and punches from Espio himself.
After a while, she had an idea. She got into a fighting stance, closed her eyes and let herself feel and hear her surroundings. With Espio, he planned to tackle her on the ground, so that the friendly-duel will end here. Now, this is one thing Destinee didn't see coming: she couldn't hear quiet steps from behind her.
With Destinee, she was focusing on hearing her surroundings when she got tackled from behind by Espio with his stealth causing the two to roll down the hill getting out of the fainting smoke. When they're at the bottom of a hill, you can see that Espio was... right on top of Destinee. They both woke up and their eyes widened shocked at what position they're in. They both stared at each other's eyes with their cheeks blushing red unnoticed.
A few moments later, they were brought back to reality and Espio stood up and lend Destinee a hand apologizing,"I'm sorry this happened".
She took his hand and got up replying,"Oh, that's okay. Let's pretend it never happened".
"Yeah", he nodded, then he suggested,"Let's go and meditate. We had a great time training each other through a friendly-duel".
"Sure", she agreed and the two headed over to meditate, both of them giving each other spaces.
