Meanwhile, Vector and Charmy were having fun during their day-off especially when they had fun in the rollercoaster at the amusement park.
Right now at the time of sunset, they laughed walking around Central City as they enjoyed their day-off.
"You know, Vector. This is actually fun!", Charmy told him.
"I know right! After all the cases we solved, we finally have the whole day to ourselves", said Vector,"Right now, we're supposed to meet Espio at the park where there's peace and quiet, so that we can tell all about our day-off".
"I know!", Charmy said already agreeing to it.
At the park...
You can see the two boys spying on Espio and Destinee meditating, though they haven't met her before.
"Wow, seems like he's having a peaceful day", Vector whisper-shouted to Charmy.
"And he's meditating with another chameleon, but it's a girl", whisper-shouted Charmy referring to Destinee, then he looked at Vector whispering to him,"Do you know what that means?".
That's when they both realized it and snicker about it.
"Oooooh, looks like someone's got a girlfriend, but we better not interrupt the moment", said Vector chuckling at the end and giving Charmy a thumbs up.
"Yup!", Charmy whisper-shouted while chuckling a bit.
Suddenly, they heard someone clearing their throat. They turned and jumped as they're surprised to see Espio and Destinee right in front of them.
"Oh, Espio. What a nice surprise!", said Vector.
"And who's that girl with ya?", Charmy asked Espio referring to Destinee.
"First of all, we're not dating because we just met and we're still getting to know each other. Second, my name is Destinee the Chameleon and I'm a well-trained ninja just like Espio, but everyone has flaws right? Even ninjas and skillful people", she explained.
"Yes!", the Chaotix agreed.
That's when Vector and Charmy introduced themselves and how they and Espio were a team of detectives known as the Chaotix.
"That's cool! Being a detective is not easy, but once you learn how to be one, you'll be more cautious, smarter and your eyes will be as sharp as an eagle", said Destinee.
"I like this one!", Vector said laughing and indicating that he likes her opinion.
Espio nodded and smiled liking her opinion.
"So true!", said Charmy.
"So how'd you guys meet? Did you get along pretty well?", asked Vector.
That's when Espio explained about how they first met and how he's impressed by her moves while Destinee explained about her life before she met him, the things she brought currently and how she's impressed by Espio's ninja skills. Then, they explained about the friendly-duel they had earlier, but they left out the part where they fell on top of each other.
"Wow, you guys really do have a lot in common!", Vector commented,"I mean, you almost have the same skills".
"I agree! We'd make a pretty good team when it comes to battles especially you guys!", Charmy agreed with Vector.
But you two would make a great couple too, they both thought.
"So how about we meet at the park tomorrow morning when we have time, then we'll introduce you to our other friends?", asked Vector.
"Sure thing", Destinee agreed as the trio headed back to their office while she wandered off in the park going to her own shelter.
