A couple of things:
First, I discovered something sad. I just watched Kol's death and I can't write (Y/N)'s reaction because apparently, that episode aired in between seasons 2 and 3 of TW.
Second, I'm not sure if I'll be able to publish next week because I'm going on a holiday next weekend. But I'll see how I go.
To make up for it, here's a little something I was going to put in the last chapter but completely forgot:
I had just brought Isaac home. We didn't have enough time to grab his things, so I had promised to get him something at the mall (yes, I had purposely avoided the word 'buy'). I was taking him up to the guest room.
"Thanks," he said, sitting on the bed. "But why are you doing so much for me?"
"Isn't it obvious?" I replied with a soft smile, sitting next to him. "Because I care about you". I caught myself glancing down at his lips before looking back into his eyes, and I noticed him doing the same.
Before I knew what was happening, I felt myself getting pulled towards him, like an invisible magnet. Judging by the way he was also inching towards me, I could tell he felt the same way. Eventually, our lips met in the middle. I soon felt the kiss deepening and I pushed him down so I was on top of him.
You can probably guess what happened next ;). I'm not good with writing smut, so I'll leave it to your imagination.
P.S. Just a little reminder that that was probably Isaac's first kiss... Among other things...
