{22}I groaned when I looked at the outfit Colton was holding up before me as we stood in his older sister's room.
James was on the bed, his hands behind his head and a grin on his face.
"C'mon, An. We don't have time for your complaining." James said.
"Can't I just complain a little bit?" I asked, trying not to stare at James for too long.
"Nope."
I rolled my eyes and snatched the dress from Colton's hands. Walking inside the bathroom, I slammed the door shut playfully and began to get undressed.
Once I was dressed in; it's gold, short and flowy. Under my bust it has a white strip, the same white strip is the slim straps that go over my shoulders.
I did my make-up lightly and quickly, brushed through my hair and put it up, then walked outside the where the boys were talking lowly. They didn't seem to notice me in the room.
"- that's what you want to do, James. I agree, I think its good for her. You're a good man." Colton was saying. I cleared my throat and the two looked up,"how long have you been there?"
"Like, two seconds." I walked toward his sister's closet and picked up a pair of white strapy heels and sat down to put them on.
When I was done, James said, "right. Well, you look great. Everyone's done, let's go party."
For a moment we just looked at each other, then Colton clapped his hands in James' face.
"Alright you two, save it for later."

"A nightclub?" When James' BMW pulled into the parking lot of the Sensations nightclub, I couldn't help but laugh. "Seriously?"
James got out of the car, the rest of us following.
He turned to me, "there's somebody I want you to meet." James smiled at me, his hand on my back. I pushed down the butterflies and tingles. "And apologize in advanced for his behaviour."
"Trust me; if I can put up with you, I can put up with anyone." I chuckled when he put a hand over his heart and faked a hurt expression. "Who is he?"
"His -"
"James, my man!" A loud voice came from behind us as we stand in line. I turned my head toward the voice, to see a chubby yet tall Brazilian guy; he had a tattoo on his cheek and short cut black hair. When he reached us, he clapped James on the back.
"- Timmy. My cousin, but his like a brother." James was grinning at the guy, Timmy, in appreciation and admiration. "How've you been, man?"
"Good, good." Without warning, Timmy pushed his way in front of us. I raised my eyebrows at James and he grinned even wider.
"Timmy, this is Andy."
This time he raised his eyebrows. "Andy? As in, girl you always talk about?" Timmy smiled down at me, "she's not as ugly as you said."
I looked up at James, eyebrows furrowed, "James?" I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
James looked down at me, then to Timmy and me again. "Hey, no, Timmy's just playing! He isn't serious."
Relief flooded my body. "Oh, okay."
"He never said you're ugly." The grin on Timmy's face told me he did this kind of stuff on a daily basis, making me laugh. "You said quite the opposite, hey James."
