"When I first saw you, I couldn't believe you didnt recognize me." The girl said, taking a seat on a park bench and motioning for me to sit next to her. Reluctantly, I did.

For a moment I just sat and examined her. She did look familiar; he blonde hair, green eyes... Is it possible she was one of Rick's old friends and I just didn't remember her?

"So... What's your name?" I asked, my back tense and butterflies in my stomach.

"Samantha Queens," as she said her name, Samantha examined my face with a cringe on her own. My eyes widened, and my back tensed even more if that's even possible. "Ring a bell?"

I was like a fish out of water; mouth opening and closing repeatedly, and my breaths coming out short. How did I not recognize her straight away?

"Queens? As in..."

"Jenny Queens' daughter." Samantha nodded, inhaling a deep breath. She let it out, "Rick Queens' twin sister."

My eyes snapped in her direction. I could feel myself getting teary. "Rick Owens." I corrected.

Rick's twin looked down at her hands folded in her lap. My mother had told me briefly what happened with Rick; he was taken from his twin sister when she adopted him because my father didn't want her as well. For what reason, I don't know. There was a time when I thought about look for Samantha, but I didnt know what I was looking for.

Now that I look at her, I can see Rick.

Is this what he would've look like when he turned sixteen? Only, manlier?

"So..." I was lost for words. With trying to stop the tears from falling and processing everything, it was hard to concentrate.

Samantha looked at me with her green-grey eyes, just like Rick used to, and the tears fell.

"I can go if you want me to..." Samantha started standing up but I pulled her back down to the seat. "Um... Do you want to ask any questions?"

For a few minutes we only sat in silence, me thinking everything through and her staring at the ground.

Finally I spoke, "how'd you know about him?"

"My mum told me about him," she smiled now, as if even just a conversation with her mum was memorable. I all but cringed with envy.

"You stayed in touch with you mum?" I shifted in the seat. "I thought she would've given you to an orphanage."

Samantha nodded briskly, "she did give me up for adoption. But when I was about fourteen and I was settled in with a new family, she contacted me." I could tell her mother was still a touchy subject for Samamtha, as was mine. "She asked me if I'd been in contact with my brother. I had no idea what she was talking about.

"In the end I understood everything, with Rick being looked after by your mum and dad. But then when I went to talk to Rick, I was told by your neighbors that he'd passed away.

"When the family I was with decided they didn't want me anymore, I was sent back to the orphanage. I begged my mum to take me in but she refused, and I haven't seen her again."

There were tears in Samantha's eyes now as well, and it didn't help me try and stop getting teary.

I can't possibly understand the pain Samantha is going through; to loose a twin, even though you hadnt met him before it must have been hard. To build up all that excitement to have it crushed with that information. To have your mother leave you, twice, willingly.

It must have been devastating.

I decided in my head that my pain was probably on the same leavel as hers. Instead of saying my thoughts, I stood up, pulled Samantha with me and wrapped my arms around her.

I'd give her the sibling she never had.

That's Samantha on the side (Emma Stone if you're gay and didn't know that). Is she what you imagine Sam to be? I hope so, cause that's how I imagined her.

Hoped you enjoyed this chapter guys.

Until next time (;
