Everyone was still asleep when I got home so I quickly ran up to my room. I fell back on my bed, remembering the events of a while ago. It was very unexpected.

I closed my eyes and cleared my mind of everything. It was fun, though. I admitted to myself. Suddenly, my phone rings and I get back to reality.

Without opening my eyes, I brought my phone up to my ear, sleep starting to take over me.

"Hello?" I mumbled.

"Hi, Joey." Luke cheers through the phone.

"Luke, what are you doing up so early in the morning?" I asked.

"Oh, I was just gonna go for a run. Wanna come with me? I mean... if you want then we can stop by the really great pancake house called Alyssa's."

Funny because I literally did all of that a few minutes ago and with Ashton. Well, half of it.

"I just woke up." I lied.

"Oh, did I wake you? Uh, sorry, sorry. Go back to sleep." Luke sighed on the phone.

I didn't know what to answer to I just said "Okay."

"Okay." He paused. "I'll just go there later?" He asked.

"Sure." I nodded even if he couldn't see me.

"Okay. Go back to sleep. Bye, babe." He chuckled before ending the call.

"Bye, babe." I said to myself and giggled. God. Damn. It.

I closed my eyes again, starting to get drowsy. I don't bother to change my clothes despite how sweaty I was earlier and now sticky. I kicked my shoes off and moved further up the bed, making myself cozy. Who knew I would be dead tired after a few laps around the place. My thoughts start to blur and I felt myself floating in a sea of sleep.

:-(

My phone rang again.

From: Luke

seriously, I'm outside your house and its kinda creepy out here

I laughed a little before getting up from my bed and going down the stairs to open the door.

"Hi." Luke greets, revealing a big ass bouquet of roses from behind him and handing it to me.

"Hi. Um, thanks." I said, taking the bouquet. "Why the sudden, um, Luke-ness?"

"Luke-ness?" He made a face.

"Romeo-ness." I changed, not having any other word to use. This is the best I could do.

"Romeo-ness?" He smiled.

"Why? Do you have a problem with the word?" I raised an eyebrow.

"No, of course not." He said in defense.

"So, what's up with all of this?" I think "this" is the word I was looking for.

"I just thought I'd make you smile. You sounded sad on the phone." He admitted, face turning red.

"Oh." I said, blushing as well.

Luke's eyes went from my face until my legs. "No pants?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
