Chapter Five

Sirius' POV
As we were all walking down the halls towards the Great Hall to eat dinner, someone bumped into me and I was falling onto Moony but he pushed me onto Peter, and Peter fell onto Prongs.
"No, get off me."
"Wow, thanks Moony."
"Hmpf-"
"What's your damage, Remus?!"
After we got up, and we all told Moony off, I finally decided to say something else.
"Hey, you two go ahead, I need to talk about something with Remus, if you guys don't mind."
"Yeah okay, just don't take long."
"Must be pretty ser- important if you called him Remus, so take your time guys."

3rd Person POV
As the two other boys walked off contemplating about what they could be talking about that was important enough for Sirius to call Remus by his actual name, Sirius finally turned back to face Remus. With Sirius being 5'6 and Remus being 5'11 and a half (Sirius debated on it being important while Remus found it being dumb), the shorter had to be at least 9 inches from Remus so he wouldn't need to crane his head all the way back to see him clearly.
"So what was this important enough thing for you to call me by my name-name you needed to talk about?"
"Right. That. So, umm, I was thinking..."
"Well that's never good, but continue."
"So as I was saying before you so rudely interrupted me, I was thinking. As I thank-"
"The past-tense for think is thought."
"Whatever! Let me finish. So as I thought..." Remus rolled his eyes as Sirius put and emphasis on the word thought.
"The fact that we should come out to our friends came across my mind. I know what your thinking. 'What if they're not cool with it?' Well I disagree. I think if Lily was okay with it, they will be too. I mean, honestly, we are a lot closer with Peter and James than we are to Lily. And do you really think my own brother would look at me differently if he found out I was into dudes the way I should be into gals?"
As Sirius was giving his mini speech, two students were in the shadows discussing if they should do it now or later.
"Come on Dorcas! This is the perfect time to do it. They're alone, no one's around, they're not paying attention, and we can flee afterwards. If they ask why we weren't at dinner, we weren't hungry."
"I just don't really know if we should actually do this, Marlene. I mean, how do we really know this spell actually works? If it doesn't, they'll be able to see us and we'll get in trouble!"
"Dorcas. I have done this spell before. It will work, don't worry. And if it works, they'll be together before the end of the year!"
"Yeah okay fine. Just do it then. We're telling Lily afterwards, right?"
