Chapter Six

Just wanted to let it be known that I was having a huge writer's block writing this chapter and I was working on another story I might publish (Sirius Black x Reader) so this chapter isn't that great. Sorry in advanced!!

3rd Person POV
The two boys didn't know what was happening when they both started to glow, but afterwards, they both felt significantly different. Remus had a great surge of confidence out of nowhere, whereas Sirius felt like hiding behind Remus all day.
"You know, I think you're right, Siri. We should tell them." Remus said with a bright smile.
"A-are you sure? I don't... really think it's such a-a good idea anymore." responded Sirius with a slight stutter.
"Aww come on! You're always the one telling me we should take a couple risks. Why not start now?"
"Well why don't we dial down the risks, and they could take it the wrong way...?"
After a bit of thinking, Remus finally said with a sigh,
"Okay. If you're not comfortable telling them, we won't."
"Really? Thanks Moons!"
"We should probably get going to dinner or James and Peter will start to worry."

It was noticeable the spell worked just by the way they were walking. Remus was striding with excessive confidence and a smug smirk set on his face while Sirius was slightly shrunk into himself, walking at a quicker pace to keep up with his boyfriend.

"See, Dorcas! I told you it would work." whispered Marlene with a triumphant smile placed on her face.
"Yes yes, whatever. Now let's go tell Lily about this and hope she doesn't get too upset." responded Dorcas, shuddering slightly at the thought of having to face Lily's wrath.

~~~at the Great Hall~~~

People being curious people, they all looked up at the sound of the door opening and the sight surprised them all. Remus strutted towards the Gryffindor table with his chin up high, making his jaw more defined. Sirius almost fainted at this. He was walking rather quickly with his head down and his hair covering his face. Saying people were confused was an understatement. No one knew why the dramatic Sirius Black was keeping his head down and the conserved Remus Lupin was holding his head up high.

"Hey you guys. Whats going on?"
"Nothing new, I don't think."
"Well then why are you two acting like each other?"
"We're... not?"
"If we were, I would have my nose stuck in a book right now or sneaking out to buy chocolate."
"And I would be singing in the dorms to a rock song, prancing in a leather jacket."
"I don't prance!"
"Maybe not, but that's not normal dancing either."
"Hey!"
"GUYS!" James stopped them before things could go further.
"Seriously, what's going on? You guys are acting differently than usual!"
"No we're not." The couple answered in unison.

3rd Person POV
The two girls ran to the Gryffindor dorms where they knew their friend would be, finishing an essay for extra credit.
"You're telling her!"
"What why me?"
"It was your idea!"
"Yes okay fine then!"

"Heyyyy Lilyyy..." she started.
"What did you do this time, Mar?"
"Why do you always think I did something?"
"Well did you?"
"..."
"Exactly. So what was it?"
"Well you see..."
"She casted a hex that switched Remus and Sirius's personalities so that they can finally admit they're in love with each other."
"DORCAS!"
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!"
"I just said it. So they can tell each other that-"
"BUT THEY'RE ALREADY DATING!!"
"..."
"We messed up."
"We?! It was YOUR idea!"
"What a way to throw me under the bus, Cas."
"GUYS! How does the spell break?"
"It's kinda complicated but not too much. Basically, they have to do something the other person would do, but better."
"So what you're saying is that Remus has to be bolder than Sirius would be, and Sirius has to be more reserved than Remus would be?"
"Exactly."
"... well shit."
