Meredith was in her new office, starring out the window when she heard a soft knock at the door. "Chief Webber?" A woman called. She turned and faced a woman with red hair, and a man standing besides her. Meredith has to stop her mouth from dropping wide open. God she's hot. Meredith thought to herself. "Oh, is the Chief in?" She asked once she saw Meredith.

"Yes, what can I do for you?" Meredith asked. Addison smiled and walked in with Derek behind her.

"Are you Patricia, we spoke on the phone last week?" Addison asked. Meredith shook her head.

"No, I'm Meredith Grey, I'm the Chief do what can I do for you?" She asked. Addison made an 'o' with her mouth and nodded.

"I'm sorry for making assumptions, it's just when I called Richard was the Chief," Addison said. Meredith smiled.

"That's perfectly alright, he had been planning to retire and had already made the decision." Meredith said. She walked over to her desk and flipped through a note pad Richard had left her.

"Any relation to Ellis Grey?" Derek asked. Meredith didn't look up at him.

"Yep, She's my mother." Meredith said with no reaction what so ever.

"Didn't know she had a daughter," Derek said. She finally found the page she was looking for and looked up.

"You guys are the new attending's, Addison and Derek?" She asked. They both nodded. She walked over and placed a hand out to Addison and than Derek. The shook her hand and introduced themselves and the specialty the practice.

"I'm sorry I'm just dying to know, but how old are you, I mean you seem really young to be Chief?" Derek asked. Addison scolded him the minute he finished his sentence.

"Derek!" She said in an assertive voice. He looked at her and mouthed 'what?'

"It's fine Dr.Montgomery, I'm 32." They both looked at her worldly. "I graduated early and skipped a few grades in school." They both nodded and smiled. "Richard has mentioned you worked here for a short time a while ago, are you both familiar with the hospital or do you need someone to show you around?" Meredith asked.

"I'm good," Derek said. She nodded. He smiled and waved before kissing his wife goodbye. He walked out of the room and began his day.

"Than you can get to work, what about you?" Meredith asked directed to Addison.

"Huh oh um I'm not as familiar with everything around here, if you wouldn't mind?" Addison said. Meredith nodded and placed her phone in her pocket.

"Of course I don't mind, what kind of Chief would I be if I didn't offer to help?" Meredith joked. Addison smiled. They began walking down the halls and towards the maternity ward. "This is the maternity ward, I'm sure I'll find you here a lot," Meredith said with a smile on her face.

"It's a lot bigger than the one at the last hospital I worked at," Addison said as she admired. Meredith slotted Arizona and walked over to her.

"This is Doctor Arizona Robbins, she is the head of Fetal surgery," Meredith introduced. Arizona stuck out her hand and Addison placed hers in Arizona's.

"I'm Addison, I'm an OB/GYN and I specialize in neo-natal surgery." Addison said. Arizona smiled.

"We are glad to welcome you to Seattle Grace," Arizona beamed before walking over to her patients. They continued walking around the maternity section and left when they finished. Next she walked through and showed her the OR's and to the ER. When she walked into the ER, she was quickly turned around and met a firm pair of lips on hers. When she pulled away she smiled.

"Mark, I'm in the middle of work," Meredith smiled. He returned the smiled and kissed her forehead.

"What I missed you," he said. Her looked over at the woman next to Meredith and smiled wider. "Addie?" He said. She smiled and hugged him tightly.

"Mark Sloan!" She chirped. Meredith eyed them and wondered how they knew each other.

"How do you two know each other?" Meredith asked.

"I worked with Addison and Derek in New York before I moved to Seattle." Mark said. she nodded.

"Well it's good that you already know someone here" Meredith said. Addison turned towards Meredith.

"When mark told me he had a girlfriend I thought he was kidding," Addison said. Meredith laughed.

"He hasn't been the settle down type of person," Meredith agreed. Mark looked at the two of them.

"Okay you two can't be tag teaming on me already." He said pointing between the two of them. They both began to laugh at him. His phone went off and he placed another kiss on her lips. "I've got to go Mer, James Cooper is going into surgery now," she smiled and said goodbye and finished the tour.

Once they finished the tour Meredith and Addison made their way to the cafe. "Thank you for showing me around today, I appreciate that." Addison said.

"You're welcome, I hope you find it easy fitting in, and if your having any problems at any time just let me know." Meredith smiled. She walked up to the line and her mother quickly walked over to her.

"Hi sweetheart, how's your day going?" She asked.

"It's going good, I'm sure you've heard for her, but this is Addison Montgomery, she is the new head of Neo-Natal surgery." Meredith said. Ellis smiles and shook Addison's hand.

"I have hear about you, it's a pleasure to meet you." Ellis said. Addison smiled.

"The pleasure is all mine Dr.Grey," Addison replied. She smiled and looked towards Meredith. "You've raised a fine young woman as well." Merediths blushed and smiled. Ellis smiles as well.

"I've always been proud of her, this is a big step for her." Ellis said. Addison agreed. They all finished getting their food and made their way to the tables. Meredith sat down with Alex, Cristina, Arizona, Izzie, Lexie and George.

"Who's the new hottie?" Alex asked. Meredith looked at him and rolled his eyes.

"Aren't you married Alex?" Meredith said eyeing him and giving an apologetic look to Izzie.

"Yes, but I can still call them hot," Alex said. Izzie scoffed.

"Not if you want a happy wife who lays you with sex." Izzie retorted.

"She's the new head of Neo-natal, Addison Montgomery." Everyone but Arizona nodded. "She's married to the Head of neuro's sister." Meredith asked.

"Alex is right, she's got and if she wasn't married I'd sleep with her." Arizona said. Izzie gave Arizona a slight smack in her arm.

"You're dating Callie, you can't say that either!" Izzie said in a joking manner. The group finished with their meals and went on with the rest of their day.
