Everybody sat in the living room watching the news praying for the snow to stop. They had been stuck together for almost two weeks and some of them couldn't take it any longer. "It doesn't look like the snow is going to clear up any time soon, this is the longest running blizzard in the history of Seattle!"  The news reporter said.

"Great!" Addison sighed. "We are still stuck in the house," She said. She looked over at Meredith who refused to look at her.

"It will pass soon enough," Izzie said. "Mer you okay?" Meredith didn't respond. Izzie called her again but nothing came in response. She walked over and waved her hand in Mer's face.

"Wh-sorry," Meredith said. Izzie eyed her suspiciously.

"What was that?"  She asked. Meredith looked up at Addison.

"I-I've just got a lot of things on my mind." She replied.

"Like what, we've been trapped for an entire week, what could possibly be on your mind?" Izzie asked. Meredith's eyes ere still locked with Addison's.

"A lots happened in the last week," she said.

"Mark?" Izzie asked. "It must be hard being away from him like this." She said. Mer smiled.

"Y-yeah, that's it." She said. She walked into the kitchen used the doorway to get to the front door. She needed the silence. The peace of being alone even if it was only for a moment.

"Are you ever going to speak to me again?" A soft voice asked. Meredith didn't look up. She didn't pay attention to  the figure behind her. "Come in Meredith it's been a week, you can't hate me forever."

"Says who?" Meredith asked bitterly. "Hating you makes it all easier." Addison moved closer to her.

"Not when you're trying to mask love with hate, just admit that's what you're doing." Addison said. Meredith knew she was right. She just didn't want to admit it. She had too many other things to deal with.

-

A week earlier.

Meredith sat in her bathroom with the door locked. Her eyes were closed, holding in the tears that threatened to fall. She knew the signs. She had the symptoms. She was late, craving everything and her boobs were bigger. The test lay flat on her lap, turned over so she couldn't see. The timer went off and she turned the test over. It took her a moment to look and she she did she couldn't keep the tears in.

Pregnant.

She was pregnant. She couldn't have a baby now, not with Mark. He wasn't fit to be a father nor was she a mother. She adjusted herself and put the test into her nightstand drawer. "I can't do this," she whispered to herself.

-

"Addison I can't do this, I can't deal with this okay?" Meredith said.

"Why not, are you that proud you can't admit that you have feelings for me!" She argued firmly.

"God Addison not everything is about you!" Meredith said firmly. "It never was about you so why don't you go and crawl between your husbands legs." She stood up and walked beck into the house, scurrying straight to her room and flopping down on the bed.

-
Sneak peek.

Meredith looked at her tray with disgust. She pushed it away and tried not to gag. Mark leaned towards Addison and whispered. "What's wrong with her, I mean haven't you noticed something was a bit off with her?"

"Maybe it's because she knows you a lying cheater." Addison said as she stood up and walked her tray over to the trash. Marks eyes widened and his mouth dropped. Meredith knew?
