A year later.

Addison and Meredith had made their relationship public shortly after Derek left. "Do you think it's too soon?" Addison asked.

"N-no, do you?" Meredith asked her. Addison walked over to Meredith and wrapped her in a tight hug.

"Of course not, if it didn't take so long to divorce Derek I would've married you a year ago." Addison stated. "But I get to marry you in two days so I'm happy."

"I'm happier, being with you has made me the happiest person ever." Meredith nuzzled her head in Addison's neck. Addison placed her hands on Meredith's head.

"Do you want kids?" Addison blurted. Meredith looked up nervously.

"No, not now but yes in the future." Meredith said. Addison released a breath once Meredith finished the sentence. "I never thought about having one until I lost the baby, but I do want kids."

"How do you feel about that whole situation?" Meredith shrugged her shoulders.

"It sucked. But I can't change it." Meredith was never really big on opening up. She always gave sort answers on topics she didn't like talking about.

"Mer, talk to me please?" Addison begged. Meredith looked at her. "I've tried to get you to open up for a year and you've been short about it, I've given you the time but I want to know!"

"You really wanna know?" Meredith asked. "I have a hostel uterus and most likely can't carry a child because of it." Meredith said. Addison's eyes widened in shock. "That's why my baby died, because my uterus can't grow a baby for nine months."

"Meredith I'm so sorry," Addison said as she rushed to Meredith's side. "We will find other ways, I could carry, treatments for you, a surrogate, anything possible." Meredith smiled.

"You would do all of that for me?" Meredith asked. Addison nodded.

"Of course I would, I love you Meredith and I want you and your babies." Meredith blushes.

"Our babies," she said, lightly punching Addison's arm.

"Yeah, our babies." They both smiled and sat up stairs for a while before heading down stairs.

"Welcome to the land of the living." Arizona said. 

"We've been in it for a while," Addison said. Arizona nodded.

"Oh?" She said, implying that she wanted details. Meredith looked at her oddly and so did Addison. Then Mer finally caught on.

"Nothing happened we were just talking." Meredith said.

"Wedding jitters?" She asked. Addison nodded.

"Yes but those will hit tomorrow and on our actual wedding day." Addison said.

"Defiantly on the wedding day, and like right before you go to sleep tomorrow night." Arizona said. Meredith and Addison both nodded. They both went on with their wedding plans for the next two days with Arizona. They made some slight changes that wouldn't effect anything, and rehearsed their first dance.
