Addison had spent the last hour and a half getting to know Lexie. They were both now natal specialists and had loads to talk about. "I actually geared about you and was inspired by what you do," Lexie said. Addison smiled.

"Really?" Addison asked. Lexie nodded.

"Yeah Mark mentioned you when I first starting looking for a specialty and I fell in love with the kind of work you did!"

"Mark always brags about my work, it's like his hidden talent." Addison and Lexie chuckled at this. From afar they could hear Addison's phone ringing. "Hold on, I'll be right back." She stood up and walked to her room. She grabbed the phone and noticed it was Mark. She hesitated answering it.

"What do you want?" She asked when she finally picked up.

"Can I speak with Meredith?" He asked. Addison scoffed.

"Seriously! She hasn't responded to you for a reason, so stop calling me, stop calling her." Addison snapped.

"We were happy, I was happy with her!" Mark replied. Addison let out an angry chuckle.

"You were so happy with her you had to cheat for a majority of the relationship." Before he could get another word in she hung up and threw her phone. She headed back down stairs when she heard something from Meredith's room.

"Oh god!" She groaned. Addison bit her lip, hoping Mer was pleasuring herself. "Ahhhhhh!" Meredith screamed. She felt sharp pulses if pain throughout her entire body. "God make it stop!" She cried. Addison and Lexie burst into her room only seconds apart.

"Meredith?" They asked. She continued to scream and cry.

"S-somethings wro-ahhhh!" She couldn't finish the sentence. Lexie helped her out of the bed and noticed the blood dripping down her legs and all over the sheets. Meredith's eyes fluttered and she collapsed into her sisters arms.

"Meredith, can you hear me?" Addison was asked. She rushed to help Lexie. "Meredith please." She turned to Lexie. "Go grab my phone and call an ambulance!" She ordered. Lexie ran and grabbed the phone.

"I need an ambulance, my sister she's having a miscarriage," Lexie's said frantically. Addison looked at her in total shock. Now it all made sense.

-

"I don't get you," Addison blurted randomly. Meredith looked up at her, raising her brow in the process.

"What don't you get?" Meredith asked. Addison scoffed.

"One minute you act like you despise me, and than the next you are hinting that you want to get into my pants!" Addison explained. Meredith rolled her eyes.

"Since when have I hinted that I wanted to get into your pants, what are we horny teenagers?" She asked defensively. Meredith's completion soon became paler than normal and her eyes met Addison's plate. "God get that away from me before I vomit everywhere."

-
Meredith woke up in an unfamiliar setting. She scanned the room with her eyes and quickly noticed she was in a hospital. No. Her hospital. She looked to her right and noticed Addison sitting on the chair by her bed. "A-Addie?" She said weakly. Addison's eyes shot up and she moved over to Meredith.

"You should've told me, you should've said something Meredith," Addison said sort of calmly, trying to hold back her tears. Meredith on the other hand couldn't keep her tears in.

"How?" She muttered, unaware of everything that had happened in the last few hours. Addison looked down.

"You had a miscarriage M-" Meredith began to shake her head.

"When?" She asked, not being able to recall anything that had happened. Addison moved closer and placed her hand on Meredith's shoulder. Meredith shot her hand up to Addisons.

"Shortly after you went upstairs you started screaming and we ran to you," Addison said. Meredith felt a rush of emotions and she fought to keep them in. She sat up and wrapped her arms around Addison sobbing into her. Addison held Meredith tightly and eventually sat down next to her.

"I-I didn't even know if I wanted the baby, and now that I can't have it, it hurts." Meredith said through her tears. Addison began rubbing small circles on her back.

"I know, and I am truly sorry Mer." Addison said, hoping it would calm Meredith down more.

"Do you know what caused it?" Meredith asked. Addison nodded.

"Your uterine wall is a lot thinner than average and it couldn't support a baby for the entire pregnancy." Addison said. Meredith's eyes fell.

"So you're saying that I can't have kids?" Meredith asked.

"Not without a lot of help and monitoring, you're at a higher risk for complications due to this.... issue and you would most likely need to consider taking time away from work during pregnancy." Addison explained and suggested.

"So my only chance at having a child is being bed ridden for nine months." Addison looked down, unable to say anything that would help her. I matter how much she tried to make Meredith feel better, it wasn't helping. She placed her forehead on Meredith's.

"You don't need to think about any of this right now, you've been through enough." She said quietly. Meredith closed her eyes and mumbled. She slid her head down and placed it on Addison's shoulder.

"T-thank you," Meredith said softly. Addison smiled and continued rubbing Meredith's back.

"What for?" Addison asked.

"For always being here," Meredith said. Addison placed a kiss on Meredith's forehead.

"I'll always be here." Addison said. Meredith smiled at her contact. Addison's  soft lips on  her forehead sent a burning sensation through her body. She slowly made her way up and connected her lips to Addison's. Addison fell into the kiss instantly. It felt right, but it was wrong. But did she care? She continues to kiss Meredith softly. Small moans escaping their mouths as the went on with the kiss. They pulled away but kept their foreheads touching.

"I've missed this, you, I've missed you." Meredith said. A smile had finally sprouted on her lips.

"I know what I want," Addison said, catching Meredith off guard. "I want you and only you, it's what I've wanted since the day I met you but I just couldn't admit it when you asked me to." She added.

"What made you realize that you could say it?" Meredith asked.

"The thought of loosing you forever."

-

Sneak peek.

Meredith's eyes began to flutter and she soon opened them completely. Addison smiled and started playing with Meredith's hair. "You're a cute sleeper," Addison said happily. Meredith smiled.

"You're watching me sleep now?" Meredith asked. Addison giggled and placed a kiss on the tip of her nose. Meredith smiled and bit her lip.

"You're happy this morning." Addison noted.

"Because I get to wake up next to you," She said happily. She pulled Addison closer and connected their lips.
