Meredith avoided Addison like the plague. She needed to clear her head. When she got home after the tiring day she had she was met by all her roommates and someone else. Derek? "Dr.Shepherd what a pleasant surprise?" Meredith said in a questioning tone.

"The heater in my trailer broke and it's winter so Addison offered me to stay with you guys." Derek said. Meredith plastered a fake smile and nodded.

"That's not a problem at all, hopefully you don't get tired of the heat," Meredith said. "It gets pretty hot and sweaty." Addison eyed her oddly.

"Oh I love the heat, I can never get enough of it." Derek replies. Meredith smiled.

"Perfect!" She said. She walked over to the fridge and grabbed a yogurt. Izzie noticed this and shook her head.

"Okay you've been living off of yogurt for a week, what's up?" She asked. Meredith looked up at her nervously.

"T-the-it's Nothing, I'm fine." Meredith said. Izzie rolled her eyes and scoffed.

"Please you only love off of yogurt when something serious is in your mind." Izzie said.

"I just haven't had much of an appetite lately, that's all." Meredith said with an odd smile. She grabbed a plastic spoon and walked into the living room.

"She's probably just really tired, she probably had too much 'Mark time' for today" Arizona said. Izzie nodded. Addison walked into the living room and sat next to Meredith.

"W-what are you doing?" Meredith asked. Addison scoffed.

"What are you doing?" She asked. "What the hell was that in the kitchen?" Meredith shrugged.

"I don't know what you're talking about," she said in an innocent tone. Addison raised a brow.

"Oh really?" She said, crossing her arms. "It gets pretty hot and sweaty, what was that?" Meredith rolled her eyes.

"That is what happens with the heat," Meredith said. Addison smiled and leaned closer, whispering something in Merediths ear. She had her hand placed on her thigh and gently squeezed it.

"In between your legs? Or in the house?" Addison said in a sultry tone. Meredith bit her lip but quickly snapped back to reality.

"W-we can't do this," she said firmly. Addison eyed her as she stood up.

"What do you mean?" She asked. Meredith shook her head and turned.

"You have a husband, and I'm getting married." Meredith said. "That's why." She walked into the kitchen and threw away the container.

"Dinner will be done soon," Izzie said Meredith smiled.

"Thank you but I'm not really hungry." Izzie nodded and smiled.

"Well come downstairs and get some when you get hungry. Just as Meredith was walking up the stairs she heard the news reporter.

"There is a snow storm blowing in tonight, I suggest you all stay in your houses for the next few days, travel will be dangerous." She said. Izzie looked out the window.

"It's already started, and it's pretty bad." She said.

"I'm gonna go put the cars in the garage to keep them from freezing up." Meredith said.

"I'll help," Addison and Arizona said at the same time." They all grabbed keys and got the cars into the garage. When Meredith pulled the final car into the garage she decided to sit in it for a minute. "What kind of game are we playing?" Addison asked.

"We're not playing any game Addie," Meredith said. She closed the door and locked it.

"Really?" She scoffed. "Because you're words earlier were different from about 20 minutes ago, 'we'll finish this when I get back' and then you avoid and ignore me all day." Addison said.

"I never should've told you we would, you should focus on your marriage because I need to focus on my soon to be husband." Meredith replied.

"You're still marring him?" Addison asked. "All he does is cheats on you!" She said firmly. Addison felt a twinge if jealousy ripple through her body.

"And he will learn a valuable lesson when the time comes but he is important to me, too important to lose." Meredith said.

"What about me, I know we haven't known each other too long but what about me?" Addison asked. "Is a cheater worth loosing the possible best thing that could happen to you?" Meredith sighed and looked to the ground.

"Addison I don't know what you're asking but I'm not giving up a marriage for a statistic you made," Meredith said. "Maybe for something real but this isn't real, at the end of the day you had Derek who you've already promise to live until death does you part."

"But what if I want you?" Addison asked, moving closer. A tear formed in Addison's eyes. Meredith looked away. The woman made her weak enough, tears would cause her to cave and throw her up against the car and kiss her until the end of time.

"I don't want statistics Addison, I want the real thing." Merediths said weakly. "And if you see us as a possibility than I'm done wasting my time." Meredith moved her arm and walked back into the house.

"Finally, we were beginning to think the snow ate you up, where's Addison?" Arizona asked.

"She's in the garage," Meredith said. She flashed a smile and walked up stairs, locking her bedroom door behind her. Meredith plopped down into her bed and let her tears fall as well. Could Addison and her have something? Something real or a possibility? Thoughts like this ran through her mind all night even during her sleep.

Sneak peek.

"It doesn't look like the snow is going to clear up any time soon, this is the longest running blizzard in the history of Seattle!" The news reporter said.

"Great!" Addison sighed. "We are still stuck in the house," She said. She looked over at Meredith who refused to look at her.

"It will pass soon enough," Izzie said. "Mer you okay?" Meredith didn't respond. Izzie called her again but nothing came in response. She walked over and waved her hand in Mer's face.

"Wh-sorry," Meredith said. Izzie eyed her suspiciously.

"What was that?" She asked. Meredith looked up at Addison.

"I-I've just got a lot of things on my mind." She replied.

"Like what, we've been trapped for an entire week, what could possibly be on your mind?" Izzie asked. Meredith's eyes ere still locked with Addison's.

"A lots happened in the last week," she said.
