Chapter 11: Truth about Zhan

" What do you mean he forgot?"asked Yibo and everyone wants to know about the answer. Charles sighed It's time for them to have an idea about what happen.

"When Zhan almost reached 16, he had a fever a very high one that causes him to have an amnesia. We took him to the hospital and there the doctor said that his memories will be back we just don't know when. Grandma didn't want all of us to push Zhan because the doctor said it may cause him a lot of pain so we just patiently wait but we had no luck. We want him to remember everything before he comes back here in China but it didn't happen." Charles stopped everyone is still absorbing the facts that they heard, Zhan had an amnesia

"But why can he recognize us?" Asked Xiao Yi

"That's because everytime since he got amnesia, grandma and grandpa always shows him a picture of each and everyone here. Yibo, you keep on wanting to have revenge but he didn't know why Yibo. You think he left you without saying goodbye 7 years ago?It's  not true. Zhan tried his upmost best just to say goodbye to you and meet you for the last time before going back to US but he was stopped by your maids back then. He tried reaching you through phone but your maids answered the phone call not wanting to let him talk to you. The first time you meet him after 7 years, he do know you Yibo but his memories during his stay here before he went to US is blank. He love you Yibo even without knowing your history yet you given him hatred and pain. I asked him if he wants to go back the first time he caught you making out with a woman but he said no, because he believes that you will change Yibo. Everytime you give him cold treatment, he just smiles and do his best but what did you do Yibo?You pushed him away to the point of now I don't know when he'll be back here again" with that being said everyone got quiet. Specially Yibo who's now full of regrets.

"I received a call this morning saying Zhan gained part of his memories, Jiyang said he is now at his home resting. Let him Rest for a while Yibo, the things you did to him is so hard to take. Fix yourself and when he comes back here, just hope that there's still a chance to mend your relationship but this time if you hurt him once more, I won't give a damn about the promises I made to Zhan about not hurting you. I hope the punch that was given to you awhile ago will serve as a wake up call for you to fix yourself and be better" Charles added to his statement. Everyone is quiet, Yibo was the first one to snap out of his thoughts to ask Charles a question.

"Charles, what happened to Zhan?Why is there a scar on his stomach?" Asked Zhan out of a sudden earning a look from everyone while Yang just smirked. Charles smiled and giggle

"I know the reason of that Yibo, but it's not for me to tell. Fix yourself maybe someday you will find out about it" Charles said

After a few minutes the food is now served. They all went to the dinning table to eat. There are plenty of foods served. It's like they're having a party for all the food present. Everyone is now quiet , they found out the truth about what happen few years back. Yibo is now regretting his actions towards Zhan but he will do what Charles whisper to him earlier.

"Yibo, If you want to win him back. Pick yourself up and be better. Fix your life and when he goes back here, when he's ready then talk things out. Remember this, don't assume anything and wait for his explanation because if you won't do that then you will loose him again"

On the dining table, where everyone is present, Qiren spoke sjnce he felt the atmosphere getting weirder as time goes by.

"So Charles, do you have any plans?" He asked

"Mr. Wang-"

"Just call me Uncle like what Zhan call me" Charles nodded

"Uncle, I think I will be back to US after  buying something that they want me to buy. Zhan left already so there's no need for me to stay here for a long time, we still have plenty of work to do" Charles said with a smile
