(rewritten)

(a;n Sledgehammer is kinda like the 'theme song' for this fanfic!)

I woke up this morning to a loud banging on the front door and my phone ringing from somewhere on the floor. The sun is pelting down on me through the large windows and blinding my newly opened eyes, forcing me to blink half a million times until I'm somewhat used to the bright lighting.

Blindly searching for my phone in my drowsy state, I manage to pick it up before the caller is sent to voice mail and press answer without looking at the screen. Deciding to multitask I get up and wander over to the door in hopes to cease the non stop hammering on my door.

"Hello," I mumble into the phone while swinging the door open to see a smiling, Elysee with a freshly manicured hand holding her phone to her ear.

"Yeah hi, you need to go to bed earlier or get up earlier! because I've been ringing and knocking for the past twenty minutes," Elysee basically yells into the phone even though she is only a foot away from me. She hangs up straight after and glides past me into my apartment like she owns the place.

"Yeah it's hardly knocking when the doors almost come off the hinges," I shoot back hotly only to receive and amused chuckle.

"Anyway, I think we should go out for lunch today. You've been cooped up in here like a disobedient dog for the past two weeks and we have a lot of catching up to do," Elysee chirps in her too cheery voice and gracefully falls into the velvety cushions on the couch I occupied less than two minutes ago. "Oh and we could invite Katy as well. The two of us went out yesterday but I'm sure she'll have my boobs hung above her mantel if we don't invite her,"

I laughed because it's true. Katy hates it when we make plans without her, she's the secretly 'needy' type, but that doesn't mean I love her any less.

"Well... I was planning on just staying in and watching a few movies or like.... Sleeping some more," I trail off as I see Elysee looking at the crumpled piece of paper on the coffee table. My initial thoughts are to get to it before she can, but she takes one glance at me with the most mischievous look in her eyes and I know I'm screwed.

Running forward my foot gets stuck under the rug and I trip which cause Elysee to collapse beside me in a fit of laughter, but not before picking up that dreaded piece of paper.

"You don't want to look at that," I grumble with fear written all over my face and laced through my voice.

"Oh come on, it can't be that bad," She giggles while shaking her head as she unfolds the piece of paper that I wish I had burned before I fell asleep.

"Trust me, it is," I mumbled while I rub my hands up and down my face multiple times out of complete and utter embarrassment.

"Casting audition, First time virgin-, OH MY GOD," Elysee screams at the top of her lungs and I just want to crawl under a rock and die as she starts to roll around in her own tears. She is laughing at my expense while I lay flat across the living room floor on my stomach with a face as red as a ripe tomato.

"Why do you even have this," Elysee questions once she has calmed down. She is full on serious now and I'm not joking when I say her mood changes could give you whiplash.

"I just.. This man, this really, really, really, gorgeous man hung it up on the notice board across the road. I swear if I had know what it was I would've left it." I ramble on like I have to explain myself. Which I suppose in this case I do.

"Well if you don't want it, why didn't you put it back?" She quizzes me with eyes full of amusement.

"Because when I read it I could feel someone watching me. I just panicked and ran home like a little baby."
