Very quickly we reached the top of the hill.

The view was....

Underwhelming.

All I could see was more trees and even those trees were blocked from my vision by the massive pine tree in front of me.

I turned towards Lars.

"Wow..." I said, in the most sarcastic voice I could muster.

He chuckled softly and pulled me forward about three steps.

Suddenly, the trees melted away and in front of me I could see what I can only describe as the birth child of Ancient Greece and a Summer Camp.

To my left stood a massive farm house, painted sky blue with white shutters and a porch on the front, I couldn't quite make out the people sitting there but they seemed to be playing chess or something.

To the left of that stood fields and fields of strawberries. Amongst the somehow blooming shrubs I could see multiple people, sitting and playing music. The air was filled with the sound of pipes, like the wind was singing.

Beyond everything I could see the sea, shimmering in the mid-morning sun. I felt suddenly less travel sick and much more homesick. My favourite place in the world is my family's beach house in Cornwall (the South of England) and seeing the ocean suddenly made me yearn for my family. This did not however, distract me from the obvious beauty of this place.

"Woah.." I whispered, no sarcasm at all this time.

Lars smiled at me, a hint of pride splattered across his face.

Two minutes.

It took me two whole minutes to notice the dragon sleeping right next to me. Don't worry though, I didn't embarrass myself and scream like some baby, oh no, instead I promptly passed out.

You may have thought I was used to the odd stuff now, what with my home being burned down by talking snakes and the boy I liked turning out to be half goat. Well, I thought that too, but obviously my brain had other ideas.

Heyyyyyy this is a short chapter cause I kinda lost the motivation this past week but ill try to keep writing because I would hate not to inside this, CAL'S STORY MUST BE HEARD!!!!
